So I'm going to try to feature some of my favorite retiring stamps over the next few weeks.  While there are some great ones coming along (I know-I've seen the new catalog! A perk of being a demonstrator!!) I will certainly miss some of these babies!

I'm such an ocean & summer girl! I've always loved this little guy on            Sea Street! So sorry to see it go.  This is just a fun card with no real reason! Just cute. And to feature my little octopus!

I also am trying to use up my Pool Party Glitter Ribbon! Boy I wish that stuck around!!! What an awesome ribbon that is!!! So perfect for the summer too!!! You may see it well beyond its life! lol

So enjoy! I'm off for a cup of tea! Maybe it'll at least warm up! Low 60's for this time of year is way too cold for this girl!!!

Happy Stampin'!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

So here we are with another week of spring
Coloring Down the Lines!!!

There's a lot going on at Stamping' Up! this week!! Retired Product List for the Annual Catalog & Occasions Catalog! We demonstrators got a sneak peek at the new Annual Catalog and oh my my!!! Cooler than cool!!! But I'm taking a break from dog-earing pages to show you a fun card!

Welcome back Helen!!! We missed you! You probably hopped here from her blog! Now head on to Lizzie's blog! We're "springing forward" this week!

Here it is:

Here's the inspiration photo:

Here are the Stampin' Up! colors:
This is a fun simple card where I stamped the background & just added a sentiment!  I love that! CAS-just my style! I loved the way these colors just kind of told the story without too much effort!

The flowers & cute little bees are from the Garden in Bloom stamp set! 2-step stampin' baby!!! lol  The sentiment is from Watercolor Wishes-my current  go-to sentiment set! Just the right size & good useful sayings.

The sentiment is cut from & backed with shapes from Lots of Labels framelits.  Throw in a 1/4" Cotton Ribbon & a Wink of Stella & it's a pretty cute card! The bee on the sentiment & the centers of the flowers are dabbed with     Crystal Effects. Not sure if you can see it or not.

So enjoy this week's card! More later with info on the retiring list! I can't share new catty info with you yet! You need to be a demo like me to do that! I will say tho-the new In-Colors!!! Like-WOW!!!!!! Best yet!!!!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

Even though it doesn't feel like it here, it's spring on the
Coloring Down the Lines Blog Hop!!

You may have arrived here from Amanda's Crafty Playdate! Be sure to keep going over to Lizzy's stamps!!! See what we have this week! I LOVE the colors this week!!!

Here's my card:

So the weather here has been horrible. Ever since April began,we've had cold, snow & rain! Worse than February! I really really really need some spring!!! When I saw these colors, I immediately though of spring flowers! And thus this card!!

Now I'm a big fan of white in a card! We don't always have it on this blog hop because we feature different colors each week. Well this week the colors make the card really "clean". I love that!

The floral stamp set I use is Beautiful Bunch.  The big flower is cut from the coordinating Fun Flowers Punch.  The little flower is cut from its coordinating punch Petite Petals!  Nice!

The sentiment is from A Dozen Thoughts.  It's a very fun versatile stamp set!  These sets are both in the Annual Catalog soon to be going away to make room for our new Annual in May! I sure hope these both stay with us! I always hate when the retiring list comes out! I miss these sets when thy go!

The leaves are cut from the Botanical Builders Framelits.  The ribbon is Watermelon Wonder Dotted Lace Trim, and the background is embossed with Lovely Lace Embossing Folder.

Clean & simple! That's how I roll!!! See ya next week!

ICS BLOG HOP-IMBRINGINGBIRTHDAYSBACK

So this month for our
Inspire, Create Share Blog Hop
we are featuring birthday treats! One of our wonderful Stampin' Up! "gurus" and trainers, Shannon West, has started a movement called #imbringingbirthdaysback!  She feels that with all the social media messages, we've forgotten about sending cards.  So she's determined to get back to it and send birthday cards to everyone! She even created a stamp to go with the occasion!!!  Well, we are hopping on her wagon!!! Happy birthday y'all!!!

Here's my card this month:

I think birthdays should be fun!!! So this card is bright & cheery & fun!!!
I love this Cherries on Top DSP! It's so bright, and it features some of the
'15-'17 In-Colors!  I love that Watermelon Wonder & Cucumber Crush!!!  These balloons just shout "happy birthday"!!!!

The stamp set is the popular Balloon Celebration-found in the Occasions Catalog! It's such a versatile little set! Balloons can be used for any occasion! I've used them on birthday cards, new baby cards, graduation cards, and even a congratulations card! They work great with the Balloon Bouquet Punch. Perfect coordination there!

The Oval Framelits made the cuts in the center. I like the "framed" look. Here I used the Soft Sky-for obvious reasons-and heat embossed with
White Stampin' Emboss powder using the cloud stamps from the stamp set!

The bling on the balloons is some Dazzling Details! I still go for some easy bling on every card!!! lol

The pretty bow is from the Cucumber Crush Dotted Lace Trim! That lace is beautiful! I though it was just the right touch here!

So hope you enjoyed! Now go hop around & see what our coast-to-coast blog hop has to share! Claudia is next!!! Either click on her name or the picture below & you will go right to here blog! Then be sure to keep going! There are a lot of great birthday wishes on this hop! It'd be great if you left us messages too! Then use our examples to create your own birthday wishes & hop on the #imbringingbirthdaysback bandwagon!!!

Happy Stampin'!!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

Hello all! Welcome to
Coloring Down the Lines
Small group this week! It's a trip from Robbie's blog to here. Then from here to Sandy's blog! Then back to Robbie's! Everyone's busy this week! Plus, the weather sure has been a challenge!!!!

So here's my card:

Here's the inspiration photo:

Here are the Stampin' Up! colors:
So Robbie was kind of going with a "spring showers" theme this week. But here a my house, it was spring snowstorm! Cold & windy & snowy! What lousy weather! No spring anywhere in sight. I had a hard time trying to think of something springy. So I think this has a spring theme, but the colors are very muted! Reflects the way I'm feeling! Ugh!

I revisited an old stamp set friend Choose Happiness. I'm trying to! lol  I admit, after the picture, I did go back & add a small strip of Melon Mambo to the left side of the card. It popped it a bit more. I didn't have time to photograph it tho.

I used the Floral Framelits to cut out the flower & random stamped on it. The Sahara Sand 7/8" Lace Trim added some life to the colors.  And of course if you know me, you know I'm adding some sort of bling! These are from the Metallic Sequin Assortment.

So sort of plain, but goes with the mood! Praying for some spring to arrive soon-very soon!!!!

Happy Stampin'!
