Note: Ha! So i didn't notice when I took the picture that the Candy Dot had moved off-center! Not time for retake! Just "imagine" it in the center of the little pillow there!!! lol

So I really wanted to try out some of my new goodies!!! Here's a new stamp set, which will be available to you in just about a week!!! It's called            Sitiing There! I love the idea of being able to sit out on a porch swing in the summer. Now bear in mind I don't have one, but I do love the idea! lol  I love the summer so.  Warmth & sun!

The little kitty is adorable! Yes, there's a dog too!!! lol  And tons of little accessories for a porch swing.  The sayings are nice too!!!

Since we are bound by the colors here, I couldn't use any new In-Colors to show you, but there is 1 more thing besides the stamp set.  Can u see it? Yup, the new Washi Tape!! Lovin' that stuff!!!!!!

So enjoy this little preview! See ya next week!

Happy Stampin'!!!

So this week the colors just shouted flowers to me! The colors are bold & bright! So I pulled out my Beautiful Bunch stamp set and coordinating                  Fun Flower Punch. Yup, both on the retiring list! Bummer!  The                  Petite Petal Punch was used here too, and that one is NOT retiring! Phew! I get to keep a couple of things! lol

The sentiment is from A Dozen Thoughts. Gone too!  But the                   Brick Wall Embossing Folder stays! I LOVE that folder! It's so versatile!!! I'd really miss that one!

The final touches bling out the card with Dazzling Details & Candy Dots. Say goodbye to those too!

It all sounds so sad that these are all leaving the catalog, but wait until you see the amazing stuff coming along!!!! The new catalog is beyond crazy good!!! Let me know if you'd like one!!!

So now go hop around & enjoy this week's creations!!!

BUH BYE BUDDY!

Just another retired product card! Can ya tell I'm having a hard time letting go?! lol

I tend to love monochromatic or 2-color cards.  The white background makes this pop I think.

So first, the DSP is English Garden. I don't have too much of that left! I love that pack! The green is Mossy Meadow from the 14-16 In-Colors. Yup, going, going, gone!

The side is actually the Bordering Blooms stamp set! I can't tell you how much I have used this particular stamp! I like the border ones, but this one has been a standard for me.  I just love the way it looks!

The sentiment is Sassy Salutations. That's been around for awhile, and I've used it so very much. It's gonna take me awhile to get used to all the new sentiment stamps. Right now i totally have my "go-to's"! I cut the sentiment out with the Labels Collection Framelits-retired last year.  Why I ask!

Using up all my Striped Cotton Ribbon. So pretty and earthy! That's me-earthy! lol

So hope you enjoyed this retiring products card! Today I got my first shipment of goodies from the new catalog! Hopefully they help me "deal" with saying goodbye! lol

Happy Stampin'!

GOODBYE OLE' FRIEND!

Just wanted to share a picture of a great card I made using some amazing retiring products! I will miss these all so much!!!

The DSP in the background is from Wildflower Fields! I love this paper! I have used it so much. I still have a bit left, but I'm sad it will be put away with years of other retired products! I should wallpaper my house with it all! lol

There are 2 retiring stamp sets in use here. The first is SweetBriar Rose. That's the big flower. I know you've seen it here before!!! The sentiment is from A Dozen Thoughts! SMH on that one!!!

The ribbon is the Striped Cotton Ribbon with the 14-16 In-Colors that are leaving! I'll really miss these colors! That Mossy Meadow, Lost Lagoon, and Hello Honey are my faves in that batch. Although I'm not sure what I'll do without Blackberry Bliss, and the Tangelo Twist is so bright!!! Oh well, I will say the new ones coming out are quite spectacular also! Just wait until you see them!!!

So just sharing some old goodies! Enjoy!

Happy Stampin'!

So I am totally on a kick now to use some of my retiring products! I'm going to miss some of them so much-especially anything the that to do with the ocean! I'm such a beach girl. I just want to sit by the water all the time! So this         By the Tide has been one of my faves since it came out. Boo hoo.

Also retiring is the Decorative Dots embossing folder. What??? That's a great folder! I can't wait to see what they replace it with!

The ribbon on there is also on the list. Both of them! The 1/4" Cotton Ribbon and the 1 1/4" Jute Ribbon. I love that jute ribbon for all my rustic or earthy creations! Glad I stashed a bit away!

The sentiment is from A Dozen Thoughts. I think that one surprised me the most! That's such a perfectly versatile stamp set! I guess there are some great ones coming along! For every one that retires, there's a new one to take it's place!

Lastly, the "bubbles" in the water are made dimensional by the              Dazzling Details. Now the Gold & Silver will remain, but the Clear goes bye-bye! Again-boohoo!!! Although I must say I ADORE the Wink of Stella to take it's place!

It's so hard to say goodbye to my old friends, but I'm looking forward to getting my hands on some brandy new stuffs!!! Some are coming this week!!! Can't wait to play!!!

Happy Stampin'!

ICS BLOG HOP-GIRLS NIGHT OUT!

It's that time again!! Time for another
Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop!!!
This month we are all "girlie"!!! We have creations for you that are "girl" inspired!!!!  Be sure to check them all out!!!

Here's mine this month:

So I decided that I could combine my "girlie" card with the most "girlie" day of the year-Mother's Day!!! While my mom is enjoying Mother's Day from Heaven, my MIL still loves her homemade cards!

So I decided to make something I could give her with her gift-she wanted a gift card for a pedicure! Perfect little gift bag for that!!!

So all the paper used is from the 15-17 In-Color Envelope Paper!!! That's going away soon so I wanted to use it up!!!  So there's a card, an envie, and a gift bag for the gift card! All coordinate of course! lol

The little bag is made with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlets! That makes these little holders for gift cards so easy! I've used it so many times!  I just added some Dotted Lace Trim for color!  Easy peasy!

On the card, the beautiful rose is of course the Rose Garden Thinlets! So pretty! Nothing else needed! The sentiment is from April's My Paper Pumpkin stamp set! Perfect!!!

So it's a pretty sweet suite! Great for gift giving and I'm all set for Sunday!  Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there!!!!

Now head over to Andrea Tracy-Tucker's blog & see what she has ready for you!!! You can either click on her name here or on the icon below! Either one will get you hopping around to some great creations!!!!

Happy Stampin'!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

Well, here in MA we are back to frigid, damp yucky weather. So depressing! So hopefully this week's
Coloring Down the Lines Blog Hop
will make me feel a bit more springy! This is nasty!

Welcome to Helen's blog hoppers!!! Onward to Liz's blog after here! Then keep going and enjoy these pretty colors! Maybe get some inspiration yourself!

The Stampin' Up! colors:
So I had Mother's Day on my mind this week.  But I already made my Mother's Day card for my MIL, so decided to make this a nice "thinking of you" type card!  Came out nicer than I had hoped!

I used for the first time my new FREE stamp set that came with last month's   My Paper Pumpkin called All About Everything! What a nice stamp set that is! Wow! It looks so pretty with this Elegant Dots Embossing Folder.  Then cut it all out with the Lots of Labels Framelits & it really "frames" the flowers nicely!

I will admit to pulling out a few retired Large Pearl Accents from years gone by! Oops! I just wanted something larger for the center & didn't have any of the new ones left, so mea culpa!

I'm so bummed that this 1/4" Cotton Ribbon is retiring! It came in so many colors & was my "go-to" ribbon! Not too big or small & super easy to work with!

If you look closely, I "blinged" it up a bit with my Wink of Stella Clear Pen! That is so easy to use to add just a hint of bling! Not too much!

I somewhat brought myself out of the weather doldrums today pre-ordering from the new catty!!! That's one of the perks of being a demonstrator! We get to see & order before everyone else! Just wait until you see the new In-Colors!!!! So cool!!!!! Can't wait to share some projects with you! Be sure to order your "must haves" from the Retiring List though! They are going quickly!!!

Gonna go pray for sun! I'm growing moss!

Happy Stampin'!
