YELLOW COLORING DOWN THE LINES!!!

I'm so glad for the color choices this week-More Mustard and So Saffron! Very yellow!! Reminds me of the beautiful sunshine I just left in Hawaii! Had a wonderful time, but now I'm back & rearing to go!!!

Welcome on over from Helen's blog!!! Glad you're here!! Lovin' Helen's entry in the hop this week!!! It isn't easy to make something cool with these 2 colors!!! lol  I will say working with a 2-color restriction is a bit tough!!!! Good challenge tho!!

So here's this week's card:

I pulled out an old "friend" of a stamp set-Build a Blossoms!!! It's from the Big Book!  I love using this set with the coordinating Blossom Builder punch-also in the Big Catalog!  I really love how Stampin' Up! gives us so many coordinating products!!!

Look how pretty close up!

I used an old button from the Subtles pack & some white Bakers Twine!  The So Saffron background was cut with the Floral Frames framelits! I used one of my Sale-a-Bration stamp sets, Vintage Verses, for the sentiment! Easy peasy!!! But I think it packs a punch!

So now take a hop over to Liz's blog!!! Liz has such nice style! I know you'll love her entry!!!

So until next week!

Happy Stampin'!!!!

  2. really nice card, Joni. I was wondering if you'd have a Hawaiian flare to your entry this week, and because I always associated flowers with Hawaii, this one would fit the bill. Welcome back, and great job on your creation.

  3. Joni, I love how you took this rather difficult stamp set and punch pieces and made it so pretty. The button, the sentiment, all the pieces, I love it. Great challenge. And I like that top, right, corner. It's different and nice.
