Here's my card this week:

Here's the inspiration photo:

Here are the Stampin' Up! colors:
So I'm going to try to feature some of my favorite retiring stamps over the next few weeks.  While there are some great ones coming along (I know-I've seen the new catalog! A perk of being a demonstrator!!) I will certainly miss some of these babies!

I'm such an ocean & summer girl! I've always loved this little guy on            Sea Street! So sorry to see it go.  This is just a fun card with no real reason! Just cute. And to feature my little octopus!

I also am trying to use up my Pool Party Glitter Ribbon! Boy I wish that stuck around!!! What an awesome ribbon that is!!! So perfect for the summer too!!! You may see it well beyond its life! lol

So enjoy! I'm off for a cup of tea! Maybe it'll at least warm up! Low 60's for this time of year is way too cold for this girl!!!

Happy Stampin'!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

So here we are with another week of spring
Coloring Down the Lines!!!

There's a lot going on at Stamping' Up! this week!! Retired Product List for the Annual Catalog & Occasions Catalog! We demonstrators got a sneak peek at the new Annual Catalog and oh my my!!! Cooler than cool!!! But I'm taking a break from dog-earing pages to show you a fun card!

Welcome back Helen!!! We missed you! You probably hopped here from her blog! Now head on to Lizzie's blog! We're "springing forward" this week!

Here it is:

Here's the inspiration photo:

Here are the Stampin' Up! colors:
This is a fun simple card where I stamped the background & just added a sentiment!  I love that! CAS-just my style! I loved the way these colors just kind of told the story without too much effort!

The flowers & cute little bees are from the Garden in Bloom stamp set! 2-step stampin' baby!!! lol  The sentiment is from Watercolor Wishes-my current  go-to sentiment set! Just the right size & good useful sayings.

The sentiment is cut from & backed with shapes from Lots of Labels framelits.  Throw in a 1/4" Cotton Ribbon & a Wink of Stella & it's a pretty cute card! The bee on the sentiment & the centers of the flowers are dabbed with     Crystal Effects. Not sure if you can see it or not.

So enjoy this week's card! More later with info on the retiring list! I can't share new catty info with you yet! You need to be a demo like me to do that! I will say tho-the new In-Colors!!! Like-WOW!!!!!! Best yet!!!!

Happy Stampin'!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

Even though it doesn't feel like it here, it's spring on the
Coloring Down the Lines Blog Hop!!

You may have arrived here from Amanda's Crafty Playdate! Be sure to keep going over to Lizzy's stamps!!! See what we have this week! I LOVE the colors this week!!!

Here's my card:

Here's the inspiration photo:

Here are the Stampin' Up! colors:
So the weather here has been horrible. Ever since April began,we've had cold, snow & rain! Worse than February! I really really really need some spring!!! When I saw these colors, I immediately though of spring flowers! And thus this card!!

Now I'm a big fan of white in a card! We don't always have it on this blog hop because we feature different colors each week. Well this week the colors make the card really "clean". I love that!

The floral stamp set I use is Beautiful Bunch.  The big flower is cut from the coordinating Fun Flowers Punch.  The little flower is cut from its coordinating punch Petite Petals!  Nice!

The sentiment is from A Dozen Thoughts.  It's a very fun versatile stamp set!  These sets are both in the Annual Catalog soon to be going away to make room for our new Annual in May! I sure hope these both stay with us! I always hate when the retiring list comes out! I miss these sets when thy go!

The leaves are cut from the Botanical Builders Framelits.  The ribbon is Watermelon Wonder Dotted Lace Trim, and the background is embossed with Lovely Lace Embossing Folder.

Clean & simple! That's how I roll!!! See ya next week!

Happy Stampin'!

ICS BLOG HOP-IMBRINGINGBIRTHDAYSBACK

So this month for our
Inspire, Create Share Blog Hop
we are featuring birthday treats! One of our wonderful Stampin' Up! "gurus" and trainers, Shannon West, has started a movement called #imbringingbirthdaysback!  She feels that with all the social media messages, we've forgotten about sending cards.  So she's determined to get back to it and send birthday cards to everyone! She even created a stamp to go with the occasion!!!  Well, we are hopping on her wagon!!! Happy birthday y'all!!!

Here's my card this month:

I think birthdays should be fun!!! So this card is bright & cheery & fun!!!
I love this Cherries on Top DSP! It's so bright, and it features some of the
'15-'17 In-Colors!  I love that Watermelon Wonder & Cucumber Crush!!!  These balloons just shout "happy birthday"!!!!

The stamp set is the popular Balloon Celebration-found in the Occasions Catalog! It's such a versatile little set! Balloons can be used for any occasion! I've used them on birthday cards, new baby cards, graduation cards, and even a congratulations card! They work great with the Balloon Bouquet Punch. Perfect coordination there!

The Oval Framelits made the cuts in the center. I like the "framed" look. Here I used the Soft Sky-for obvious reasons-and heat embossed with
White Stampin' Emboss powder using the cloud stamps from the stamp set!

The bling on the balloons is some Dazzling Details! I still go for some easy bling on every card!!! lol

The pretty bow is from the Cucumber Crush Dotted Lace Trim! That lace is beautiful! I though it was just the right touch here!

So hope you enjoyed! Now go hop around & see what our coast-to-coast blog hop has to share! Claudia is next!!! Either click on her name or the picture below & you will go right to here blog! Then be sure to keep going! There are a lot of great birthday wishes on this hop! It'd be great if you left us messages too! Then use our examples to create your own birthday wishes & hop on the #imbringingbirthdaysback bandwagon!!!

Happy Stampin'!!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

Hello all! Welcome to
Coloring Down the Lines
Small group this week! It's a trip from Robbie's blog to here. Then from here to Sandy's blog! Then back to Robbie's! Everyone's busy this week! Plus, the weather sure has been a challenge!!!!

So here's my card:

Here's the inspiration photo:

Here are the Stampin' Up! colors:
So Robbie was kind of going with a "spring showers" theme this week. But here a my house, it was spring snowstorm! Cold & windy & snowy! What lousy weather! No spring anywhere in sight. I had a hard time trying to think of something springy. So I think this has a spring theme, but the colors are very muted! Reflects the way I'm feeling! Ugh!

I revisited an old stamp set friend Choose Happiness. I'm trying to! lol  I admit, after the picture, I did go back & add a small strip of Melon Mambo to the left side of the card. It popped it a bit more. I didn't have time to photograph it tho.

I used the Floral Framelits to cut out the flower & random stamped on it. The Sahara Sand 7/8" Lace Trim added some life to the colors.  And of course if you know me, you know I'm adding some sort of bling! These are from the Metallic Sequin Assortment.

So sort of plain, but goes with the mood! Praying for some spring to arrive soon-very soon!!!!

Happy Stampin'!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

Hello again!!! We are
Coloring Down the Lines
again this week!!!

Hello hoppers from Robbie's blog! You probably started this little hop there! Next move on to Lizzy's blog!!!! Then visit Sandy & back to Robbie!!!! We are small but powerful!!!

Here's this week's card:

Here is the inspiration photo:

Here are the Stampin' Up! colors:
So this week we get a bit of bling! I love playing with this
Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper! It's so pretty! Even prettier in person than in the photos!!

That glimmer card stock works well with the Botanical Builder Framelits!  I love how this flower has like a 3-D type effect going! Really add some nice umph to the flower!!!

The only actual stamping is on the sentiment! It's from my well-used
Something to Say stamp set!

The added bling are some of the Iced Rhinestones!!! They are a really nice alternative to to the regular Jewel Rhinestones! A bit fancier if you ask me!

So go hop around!  Hopefully you find some feelings of spring here on this hop! It's so cold here I can't stand it anymore! lol

Happy Stampin'!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES

Hello!  Spring is in the air on our
Coloring Down the Lines Blog Hop!!!
Although I did wake up to 6" of snow yesterday! Grrrrr! The warm air is coming, the days are longer, the crocus patch is blooming! It really is coming!!!

If you're on the hop, you probably traveled here from Helen's blog! So nice to have her back!!!!  After here, hop over to Lizzy's blog!!! The ladies are back!!!!!

Here's this week's card:

Here's the inspiration photo:

Here are the Stampin' Up! colors:

I think this card came out so fun! I love the Cherry on Top DSP as the background! And the Sahara Sand lace really pops here! That butterfly punched with the Butterfly Punch really shouts SPRING!!!  lol!  I thought it was kind of cute to put the sentiment on him! Kinda works!

I am posting remotely today so I don't have all the details handy on stamp sets, etc. I know the flowers are from the amazing Sale-a-Bration Catalog!!!

If you want details, please just contact me! I'll gladly share with you!

Be sure to keep hopping! The ladies are on fire this week!!!!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

Hey all!!! It's Wednesday! Time for
Coloring Down the Lines!!!!

I have some "spring" for you today!!!

Welcome hoppers from Amanda's Crafty Playdate!  She has a great new video you should check out!!! Don't forget to head to Lizzy's blog next!!!! She always has a treat for you!!!

So here's my card:

Here's the inspiration photo:

Here are the Stampin' Up! colors:
I so want spring to get here! So this car is very "springy"!!! lol  I love these colors together!!! They really pop!!!

The adorable flowers are from Flowering Fields! You can find this stamp set in your Occasions Catalog! What? You don't have one?? Well let me know & I'll solve that problem!!!

That sentiment is from Suite Sayings! Also in the OC!  So many great sentiments in that set!!!

Now the question here. Where did that awesome background come from? That is DSP from the Pretty Petals Designer Paper Stack!! But wait! There's no Mint Macaron in that stack!! You are right!!! I "made" the color!!!! Wanna know how? Just ask! lol

The cute little flowers are from the In-Colors Blossoms Accents. Tough for mailing, but super cute when handing a card with a gift or something like that!

Hope I gave you a touch of that spring feel today!!! Now go hop like a bunny to the other blogs!!!

Happy Stampin'!!!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

Hello hoppers!!! It's time for
Coloring Down the Lines!!!

We are so happy to be hopping into spring!!!

Welcome to the visitors from Amanda's blog! Usually you are coming here from Helen's blog, but she is having technical difficulties this week!  On to Sandy's blog from here! Liz has such a busy life right now!

So here's this week's card:

Here's the inspiration photo:

Here are the Stampin' Up! colors:
I wanted a simple, fun spring card this week. I just love how this turned out! I've been featuring a ton from the Occasions & Sale-a-Bration Catalogs, but I don't want you to forget the Annual Catalog! This stamp set is
Butterfly Basics.  There are framelits, punches & stuff to go with it, but I love the simplicity of this card!!!

It's very simple! Just stamp and watercolor with the Aqua Painter!  For a little extra grounding, I watercolored around the flower with the Soft Sky. This is my new favorite technique. It really brings out the image!!!

Look carefully! You'll see a "Wink" of "Stella"!! Ya, I pretty much use it on every card I make!!!!! They had better continue this into the new
Annual Catalog! If not I'm buying up a case of it before hand!!!!!!

That sentiment is my fave right now! It's from Suite Sayings which IS in the Occasions Catalog! That is a "suite" little stamp set (see what I did there?!)! Lots of great sentiments for just about any occasion!

So hop along now! Until next week!!!

Happy Stampin'!

ICS BLOG HOP WELCOME SPRING!

Another month already! That means it's time for the
Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop!
This month we are kicking into spring a bit early! We are "welcoming spring" with some beautiful creations! Be sure you hop all the way through & check them all out! Comments are great too!!

Here's my card:

Now I usually go all floral & such for spring, but this time I went just a bit different. The day I created this, we had an unusually warm day-60 degrees F in New England in February! That was almost a record breaker! I dislike winter so much, that when the weather was so nice like that, I just wanted to look out the window & enjoy the blue sky & beautiful air!  That inspired this card! I mean what's more springy than flying a kite on a blustery warm spring day?!

Here I used the Happy Home stamp set. I love how it coordinates with the Hearth & Home Framelits! Perfect! You really feel you are looking out the window! Lots of fun images to play with in this set! The image was first heat embossed with Black Embossing Powder, and then watercolored using the ink pads & Aqua Painters.  If you look closely, you will see a Wink of Stella sparkle in the sky! I really think that's my favorite tool they have come out with in a long time! I use it on everything!!!!

I used some Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper for the background. I thought it looked a bit like wallpaper! Now I'm not sure I'd paint my woodwork Bermuda Bay, but it looks pretty in this "room"!! lol

Wrap the whole thing up with some Bermuda Bay Thick Bakers Twine & it makes a nice springy window!

Now to see all our spring creations, hop from here to Claudia's blog

! Just click on her name or the image below & you'll get there! Then keep hopping & enjoy!!!  Happy first day of spring just a bit early!!! See you in April!

Happy Stampin'!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES

This week we are
Coloring Down the Lines
into spring!!! We are looking at brighter colors for the month of March. Although the card I made is rather "dark", I still feel springy looking at the creations on the blog this week!!

This week you are hopping from Amanda's blog! We are sending out hugs & prayers to Helen as she deals with a family health issue.  You will hop onto Sandy's blog this week! Lizzie is off & running!!!
We are all glad you are here!!!

Here's my card:

Here's the inspiration photo:

Here are the Stamping' Up! colors:
So I bet I didn't go where you expected with these colors!!! I didn't go all bright!  I needed a birthday card for a male friend of mine. I though I could make these colors work! Now Calypso Coral is one of my fave SU colors, but I though for a guy just a pop of it would be best!

I used the Balloon Celebration stamp set from the Occasions Catalog! It's a sweet little set that even has the Balloon Bouquet Punch to go with it!!! You can even get these in a bundle & save 20% on the cost!!!  I did!!

Now you may say that Woodland Embossing Folder is retired, but you're wrong! They brought it back due to popular demand!!! So many people requested it that they listened! I'm so glad! That was one of my faves from the Holiday Catalog! It really works for just about every season depending on how you color the trees! Cute!

So hope you like the card this week! I think it's great for a guy & I sure hope my friend likes it!  Until next time...!!!

Happy Stampin'!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

Hello hoppers! It's
Coloring Down the Lines
Blog Hop day!! Glad you are here!

Welcome from over at Helen's blog! So glad to have her back! And now on to
Lizzy's blog! Glad she's back too! lol I love being the peanut butter on their sandwich!

So here's this week's card:

Here's the inspiration photo:

Here are the Stampin' Up! colors:
So I wanted to use some of my new stamp sets from the Sale-a-Bration and Occasions catalogs!! The lovely bird and the sentiment are from
Picture Perfect from the Occasions Catalog! The flowers are also. This is a great 3-step-stamping set. There's an amazing starfish in the set which is the real reason I wanted the set, yet I haven't even used it yet! lol Soon grasshopper!!!

I so love this 3/8" Pool Party Glitter Ribbon!!! I wish they wouldn't discontinue the ribbons & embellishments! This stuff is great! So sparkly!!! This pic surely doesn't do it justice!

And to keep with my sparkly theme, I used my
Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush. I have used this on  nearly every single card since I got it!!! It comes in silver too! They'd better not discontinue this one!!! lol

So enjoy hopping around! Hopefully this card brought a touch of spring to you!

Happy Stampin'!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES

Happy Wednesday! We are
Coloring Down the Lines
again today!!!!

Hello hoppers from Robbie's blog!!! Helen is on vacation somewhere warm! Lucky girl!! Happy hoppin' over to Lizzie's blog next! So pretty!!!

So here's this week's card:

Here is the inspiration photo:

Here are the Stampin' Up! colors:
Very simple but with a nice pop I think! I absolutely love the Pretty Petals DSP! It's in the Annual Catalog! Don't forget that great catalog! I know right now it's all about the Occasions and Sale-a-Bration Catalogs, but the "big book" has some beauties in it that you can get all year round!!!!

I did use a stamps set from Sale-a-Bration, though! I will be so sad when this stamp set is gone!!! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! It's so pretty and make a quick card so lovely!!! It's called Botanicals for You! The giant sentiment just works for me! An the little flowers add just the right "punch"! Making a card for a guy? Just leave out the flowers!!! Super fast!

I used the Curvy Corner Trio punch for the corners here! I use that more than I thought I would. It adds just the right touch to the edges.

I will admit to "stretching" the colors though. I thought it needed some color so I added the Silver Cording that I had left over from my Holiday Catalog. If you really stretch your imagination, it's the same as Smoky Slate! That's my story & I'm sticking to it!!!! lol

So hope you enjoyed! Short & sweet this week! I am off to perform in our big production of Joseph's Dream-A Vision of Choice! It's an original play that I actually wrote the script for! We produced it once last year, but were invited to bring it to our professional theatre in Worcester-our local city!!! This is a big deal for us! It's a cast of 50 with a full soundtrack, 3-D Mapping & Projection all over the theatre, genuine authentic costumes (including wings designed by one of the original designers for Victoria's Secrets wings), and so much more! We are so excited! Next year, Boston & Providence! Yup, we've already been invited!!! So excited to be on this journey!!!

Happy Stampin'!
