ICS BLOG HOP-EASTER LILIES

Happy spring! Well-almost! Here on the Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop we are going "springy" this month-Hopping into spring! I thought that would be a perfect time to create an Easter card!  What is more springy than Easter?!

Here's my card:

This is a "fun fold" of sorts.  I wanted to be able to add some interest to the oh so beautiful Easter Lilies stamp set & dies!!!! This one give a bit of interest with the front panel.  You can just sort of see it here. Hard to photograph it!!!

I simply cut out the center of the front of the card then used it as the top matte.  Stamped & embossed it using the Fern Embossing folder! I thought it went with the ferns that are stamped!

Simply added a few Brushed Brass Butterflies embellishments to give it that special attention! The sentiment panel is cut from the Countryside Corners Dies.

Of course I had to finish off the inside! Had to make sure the image is in the middle as it's covered by the mat in the front!

This is a super easy stamp/die set, and it looks soooooo pretty!!!! I think it makes a very special Easter card!

Hope it gave you a "springy feeling"!!! If you want more spring, hop over to     Terri's blog!!!! And keep going! I know I sure need a dose of spring!!!! Simply click on her name here or on the icon below! It'll take you on a "spring fling"!!!!

Happy Stampin'!

PAPER PUMPKIN POSSIBILITIES BLOG HOP-SWEET SPRINGTIME

It's springtime here on the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop!             Sweet Springtime that is! The February Paper Pumpkin kit is sure to bring you lots of good feelings about spring! It's so pretty with great greetings in the exclusive stamp set!

Now let's see what our group of independent  demonstrators have done as alternatives!!

So here's how the cards look as included in the kit:

Here's my alternate card:

Now just to illustrate how great & simple these kits are, my kit somehow came without a direction sheet! Oops! Never happened before, & I'm sure it won't again! But just using the pictures, I was able to create these cuties! You can too!

So for my alternative design I kind of went outside of the actual box! lol I like to try to keep the alternatives to just the materials included so you can get some ideas without having all the "extras". But this card uses some card stock & the           Cane Weave 3D embossing folder. That's it though.

I went through my card collection & realized I didn't have any new baby cards. We know of a couple of little ones coming along soon so this was quite timely!  I think this slimline card came out simply adorable!!! I love the color combo from the kit! The sentiment banner is even from the scraps from when I cut the "box" piece of the kit. Super cute!

Hope you like! And I know you'll LOVE all the other creations on this hop! Please just click on the links below to go to the other blogs! You are guaranteed to find some great inspiration! Comments always welcome!!!

Happy Stampin'!

PAPER PUMPKIN POSSIBILITIES BLOG HOP-LOVELY LAVENDER

Welcome to our monthly Paper Pumpkin blog hop where we share all kinds of alternatives to the amazing kits! One of the things we love the most about   Stampin' Up! is the flexibility, and here we love to share ideas for you to explore that too!

Here are the cards as designed in the kit:

Here are my cards:

A little cleaner & simpler version-stamped sentiment, more white space.

This one actually uses one of the tags as part of an actual card!

I tried hard to stick with my general rule of using only what's included in the kit. I know this kit has the most amazing suite of products that coordinate in the       Spring Mini Catalog, but these kits are designed for on-the-go fun with minimal supplies! So I try to give you ideas that use the kit materials only. So basically it's the same materials just a different design.

I did 2 this time because there are so many easy options with this beautiful kit! And I do mean beautiful!!! The Lovely Lavender suite is just beautiful, so if you are able, I highly recommend you add it to your collection! But if not, this               Paper Pumpkin kit stands wonderfully on its own!!!  So pretty!!!

Please check out the other blogs on our hop for even more ideas! They are listed below! I know many used the materials in the suite so if you have that, you'll get some extra great ideas!!!!

Happy Stampin'!!!!

PPP BLOG HOP-ALL THE LITTLE THINGS

Happy Spring! And welcome to another edition of our                                       Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop!!! This month's kit really shows "all the little things" that go with pretty spring crafting! Hope you enjoy our alternatives!!!

So here are the cards as designed in the kit:

Very pretty, right? They were tough to change up! But I did 3! Now if you follow this blog you know that when I do the alternatives I try to keep with the items in the kits. That way you can change things up without worrying about having all the extra supplies! Well, I did that with 2 of the cards this time. The third does use another stamp set!

So the final one here used the Balmy Blue & White Ribbon Variegated Ribbon and the Sending Smiles bundle! I kind of got the idea from the alternatives shown on the directions sheet! Even Stampin' Up! gives you some ideas!

Please note: The leaves & flowers with all the blues & purples are actually shiny silver! lol No matter what I tried I couldn't get the color to tone down on the cards! So while these look very colorful-and they are in their own way-picture if you will the blues & purples as like a mirror/silver!!! lol

So I hope you enjoyed! Please hop over to
Darla's
blog next & see her alternative design! Simply click on her name or the link below! And keep going!!! Enjoy & enjoy "all the little things" this spring brings!!!!

Happy Stampin'!

PPP BLOG HOP-SUNSHINE AND SMILES

Welcome to our Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop! This month's kit is so adorable!!!! Creating an alternative was a challenge because the actual kit is so cute! But here we are!!! Hope you hop along & enjoy all our alternatives!!!!

Here's my card:

Here's the way the actual kit works:

I saw that bunny & it just screamed Easter to me! Here in New England we are in the throws of a renewed winter weather pattern-MUCH to my dismay! Anything spring speaks to me right now! lol  And with Easter right around the corner, this is just a thing!

All I did here was turn the card inside out and back it with some                       Basic White card stock! I decorated the inside too! The rainbow was just too pretty & springy to leave on the inside!

I broke my rule about only using kit materials on this one-but just a little bit! I did add some ribbon (Metallic Woven Ribbon in Sweet Sorbet) and black & Balmy Blue inks. The stamp set Celebrating You used for the sentiment also is not part of the kit! But the majority of the card is kit-only materials!!!

I love this little Easter card and I hope you do to! Next up with some sunshine & smiles is Elizabeth! Click on her name here or the icon below to see her creation! Pray for spring! lol

Happy Stampin'!

AND this bundle will be included in the brand new Annual Catalog to be released early May!!! So it'll be around for awhile!

I tried to make this one look like you were looking out a window at a butterfly swarm, and a stray butterfly got inside!! lol May be hard to tell but there's       Wink of Stella on the wings because, well, "bling on the wing"! lol

So you can buy the bundle-or the whole suite! Which includes the amazingly beautiful Butterfly Bijou DSP and the Natural Touch Specialty Paper. These 2 items, however, are limited supply! ICS-TIMELESS TULIPS

Welcome to our April 2020 Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop!!! While we are all keeping close to home (at least I hope you are!), let this hop bring you a ray of sunshine!!!  It's just like we're all hanging out together-yet way apart!

This month we are focusing on monochromatic "girlie" cards! These are some of my faves to create! It's a bit of a challenge to stick to one color (with white, vanilla or black of course), but fun! And my "girlie"friends like to get my cards so here's mine! I went with a "girlie" Easter card because I can't see any of my "girlie"friends this Easter. So sad.  I decided to go with red-in particular
Poppy Parade- as it fit the stamp set, and flowers because, well, "girlie"!!! lol

So here's my card:

I actually did 2 versions of this card because I couldn't decide which I liked better. This is the 2nd. I just thought it needed "something", and being limited to only red couldn't do any green stems or anything.  IDK, which do you like best? Would love the feedback.

Either way, the stamp set is Timeless Tulip.  I. love. this. stamp. set! So pretty and so easy to use with the coordinating Tulip Builder Punch! Seriously-Stampin' Up! does all the work for ya!!!! I did, of course, needed to use the Very Vanilla and the Basic Black for the stamping.

I sprayed the whole card with some bling! I mix the
Frost White Shimmer Paint with some rubbing alcohol in my
Stampin' Spritzer & spray away! See the sparkle here? Wasn't sure if it showed up in the original pics!

Other items used were the Stitched Nested Labels Dies, Metallic Edge Ribbon, Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends and the Corrugated Embossing Folder.

Now please keep hopping to Audra's blog to see which color she used! Just click her name or the icon below! This is the perfect way to "visit" with so many friends yet still keep our social distancing! I know you'll find many creations to enjoy!!!

Please stay home. Stay safe.  Stay stamping.

Happy Stampin'!!!!

ICS BLOG HOP-VARIED VASES

Hi Everyone! Welcome to summer-and the Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop! This month we are focusing on our amazing punches! Some coordinate with the stamp sets & some are just great for punching out cool shapes! Mine this month is the perfect coordinating set!

Here's my card:

So we are in the midst of a brand new Annual Catalog! While this is not a new stamp set or new punch, they are new to me! And I love them!!!!!!

This is the Varied Vases stamp set with the coordinating Vase Builder Punch.  There is a beautiful new set in the catty called Vibrant Vases which I do not own-yet!!! I so love how this looks! These little vases work for any occasion! This was a thank you card created for a future family member who did something very thoughtful for us! Feeling like family already!

I have been dying to try these new Scalloped Note Cards and Envelopes!! Boy are they amazing! This card was needed quickly. Now the punch thing isn't always super fast, but having the cards available to just add the images to was perfect! It's simple but fun! The flowers are stamped on the yardstick while the vases are raised with Dimensionals. Thought it added just the perfect "punch" to the card! (See what I did there? lol)

So all the items here are available in the new Annual Catalog! And now is the perfect time to purchase them as we are in Bonus Days!!! Not sure what that is? Contact your demonstrator for information. Don't have a demonstrator? Contact me! I'd love to tell you all about it!!!!!

Now please hop on over to Janey's blog & enjoy all the goodies that you will see with the amazing stamps & coordinating punches!!! Just click on  her name or the link below!!!

Happy Stampin'!

ICS BLOG HOP-BEAUTIFUL BOUQUET

This month on our Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop we are featuring
Dad, Grads, Brides & Babies!!!  Mine is all about the bride, as I have a wedding to go to!! lol  I guess it's feeling like spring?? Been so rainy & cool here in New England. But I'll take it over the dangerous weather in the Heartland.  If you are there, please be careful!!!

So here's this month's card:

This is a simple fun try-fold-altho some would call it a fancy fold. Just a simple try-fold.  The Beautiful Bouquet stamp set is my go-to for weddings lately! This is such a versatile stamp set-and will continue on to the new catalog in June!!! Yeah! The matching Bouquet Bunch Framelits really make it able to "pop" those images right off the page!!! They will continue also-but the Bundle will retire.  So if you're interested, hop over to my blog and get yours NOW!!!

However, this absolutely gorgeous DSP-Floral Romance Specialty will be retiring. I'm so sad! This is the most lovely DSP!!!  Ya, there are some equally beautiful packs in the new catty, but I'm particularly fond of this one!

I left the front plain & put the sentiment on the inside this time. I thought the front was pretty on it's own.  There IS such a thing as too much! lol

The only other additions are some Nature's Twine, Pearl Basic Jewels, & Pear Pizazz Stampin' Blends to color the pearls-ya they can do that.  i also sponged the wood grain sheet of the DSP a bit to keep the color theme going. Hope you enjoy!

Now hop over to Debbi's blog & then keep going!!! See which event she & the other talented bloggers have ready for you!!! Just click on her name or the icon below!!

I'm very impatiently awaiting our new Annual Catalog coming soooo soon!! Can't wait to share it with you!!!

Happy Stampin'!!!

ICS BLOG HOP-FABLE FRIENDS

Happy Spring! This month on our Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop we are featuring spring-type stuffs!!!  So nice to be thinking about warmer weather, flowers, birds, sun! Although here in New England it hasn't quite hit full out yet! Very anxiously waiting though!

Here's my card:

It's really part of a little suite I did.

I love this fun little stamp set-Fable Friends!!! I originally bought it because I needed to do some baby cards & loved the little ducklings. But this will be so much fun for spring occasions & will remain in my stash for a very long time! You can still find it in the Occasions Catalog until June 3!!!

Here are the other 2 cards that go with the little suite I did!

Other materials used on these cards are the Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper (love that vellum sheet!), Duet Banner Punch, Stampin' Blends, Gingham Gala Adhesive Backed Sequins,                 Wink of Stella, Old Olive Linen Thread.

Now please hop over to Debbi's blog & see what she has to put you in the spring spirit! Then keep hopping!!! Lots of "spring-spiration" here!!! See what I did there??? lol Just simply click on her name or the icon below to get there!!!

Happy Stampin'!!!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

Well, here in MA we are back to frigid, damp yucky weather. So depressing! So hopefully this week's
Coloring Down the Lines Blog Hop
will make me feel a bit more springy! This is nasty!

Welcome to Helen's blog hoppers!!! Onward to Liz's blog after here! Then keep going and enjoy these pretty colors! Maybe get some inspiration yourself!

This week's card:

The inspiration photo:

The Stampin' Up! colors:
So I had Mother's Day on my mind this week.  But I already made my Mother's Day card for my MIL, so decided to make this a nice "thinking of you" type card!  Came out nicer than I had hoped!

I used for the first time my new FREE stamp set that came with last month's   My Paper Pumpkin called All About Everything! What a nice stamp set that is! Wow! It looks so pretty with this Elegant Dots Embossing Folder.  Then cut it all out with the Lots of Labels Framelits & it really "frames" the flowers nicely!

I will admit to pulling out a few retired Large Pearl Accents from years gone by! Oops! I just wanted something larger for the center & didn't have any of the new ones left, so mea culpa!

I'm so bummed that this 1/4" Cotton Ribbon is retiring! It came in so many colors & was my "go-to" ribbon! Not too big or small & super easy to work with!

If you look closely, I "blinged" it up a bit with my Wink of Stella Clear Pen! That is so easy to use to add just a hint of bling! Not too much!

I somewhat brought myself out of the weather doldrums today pre-ordering from the new catty!!! That's one of the perks of being a demonstrator! We get to see & order before everyone else! Just wait until you see the new In-Colors!!!! So cool!!!!! Can't wait to share some projects with you! Be sure to order your "must haves" from the Retiring List though! They are going quickly!!!

Gonna go pray for sun! I'm growing moss!

Happy Stampin'!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

Hello again!!! We are
Coloring Down the Lines
again this week!!!

Hello hoppers from Robbie's blog! You probably started this little hop there! Next move on to Lizzy's blog!!!! Then visit Sandy & back to Robbie!!!! We are small but powerful!!!

Here's this week's card:

Here is the inspiration photo:

Here are the Stampin' Up! colors:
So this week we get a bit of bling! I love playing with this
Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper! It's so pretty! Even prettier in person than in the photos!!

That glimmer card stock works well with the Botanical Builder Framelits!  I love how this flower has like a 3-D type effect going! Really add some nice umph to the flower!!!

The only actual stamping is on the sentiment! It's from my well-used
Something to Say stamp set!

The added bling are some of the Iced Rhinestones!!! They are a really nice alternative to to the regular Jewel Rhinestones! A bit fancier if you ask me!

So go hop around!  Hopefully you find some feelings of spring here on this hop! It's so cold here I can't stand it anymore! lol

Happy Stampin'!
