ICS-TIMELESS TULIPS

Welcome to our April 2020 Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop!!! While we are all keeping close to home (at least I hope you are!), let this hop bring you a ray of sunshine!!!  It's just like we're all hanging out together-yet way apart!

This month we are focusing on monochromatic "girlie" cards! These are some of my faves to create! It's a bit of a challenge to stick to one color (with white, vanilla or black of course), but fun! And my "girlie"friends like to get my cards so here's mine! I went with a "girlie" Easter card because I can't see any of my "girlie"friends this Easter. So sad.  I decided to go with red-in particular
Poppy Parade- as it fit the stamp set, and flowers because, well, "girlie"!!! lol

So here's my card:

I actually did 2 versions of this card because I couldn't decide which I liked better. This is the 2nd. I just thought it needed "something", and being limited to only red couldn't do any green stems or anything.  IDK, which do you like best? Would love the feedback.

Either way, the stamp set is Timeless Tulip.  I. love. this. stamp. set! So pretty and so easy to use with the coordinating Tulip Builder Punch! Seriously-Stampin' Up! does all the work for ya!!!! I did, of course, needed to use the Very Vanilla and the Basic Black for the stamping.

I sprayed the whole card with some bling! I mix the
Frost White Shimmer Paint with some rubbing alcohol in my
Stampin' Spritzer & spray away! See the sparkle here? Wasn't sure if it showed up in the original pics!

Other items used were the Stitched Nested Labels Dies, Metallic Edge Ribbon, Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends and the Corrugated Embossing Folder.

Now please keep hopping to Audra's blog to see which color she used! Just click her name or the icon below! This is the perfect way to "visit" with so many friends yet still keep our social distancing! I know you'll find many creations to enjoy!!!

Please stay home. Stay safe.  Stay stamping.

Happy Stampin'!!!!

  1. So rich and regal with deep colors. I like the simpler version - no leaves! The leaves look like wings and seem confusing...?

  2. I love the deep red! That paired with the black really make the tulips pop! Thanks for sharing!

  3. I like them both but like the 2nd one the best. I was trapped too on my card not being able to add the stemps or any greenery! I love a good challenge don't you?
