COLORING DOWN SUMMER'S LINES!!!!

So hi again!!! Isn't it great to be in the season of new catalog?!  I'm so excited I could scream!!! Love this catty so much! But enough about that!

It's Coloring Down the Lines time again!!! Must be Wednesday! So this week's colors were Sandy's choice! Check out her design when you hop thru our blogs!!!  You may be hopping here from Helen's blog! Awesome right? Now keep going to Laura's place & keep going until you get right back here!! Comments always welcome!!

So here's this week's Design Seeds colors:

And here's how they look on MDS with Stampin' Up! colors:

This week's added piece is to use a cut out!  (I will admit NOT my favorite thing to do, but there are definitely a lot of possibilities with cut outs!!)

So here's my card:

Now these colors make me think summer/sunset/beach sand.  So I went with beach!!! Can't wait!!
I sooooo wanted to use this cute little octopus!!! He's (or she's) from the
Sea Street stamp set in the new catalog!!! It was the first I bought!!! I love me my nautical! lol
The sentiment is from the Just Sayin' stamp set, first introduced in the now retired Occasions Catalog! It's a great carry over to the new book! So are the Framelits that work with it-Word Bubbles! See, that's MY idea of a cut out!!! lol
I actually used all the colors this week! They kind of blend together!
Little Ollie the Octopus is a little ragged in the cutting, but I like him that way!! lol
Not sure if you can see in the pic, but there's Dazzling Details bling added to the school of fish & the octopus. Thought it looked a little like bubbles!!! What's a day without bling?!

So be sure to enjoy a trip on the "hop" then check out the new
2014-2015 Annual Catalog! I promise you won't be disappointed!!!!

Happy Stampin'!

  1. Love it! Such a cute little creature. I have to admit, it was not first on my list, however, after your so very nice creation, I can see all sorts of possibilities for my grandchildren -- and summer scrapbook! Always looking for something interesting for the grands. Thanks for this inspiration. Now you have enabled me to buy yet another stamp set. Hmmmm.....
