PLUNGING MONOCHROMATICALLY!!!

This week over at
we are creating monochromatic cards! Now that doesn't mean all the same color, but rather multiple shades of the same color. Make sense?? If you head over to the Plunge you'll understand!!! Makes a pretty card!

So here's my card:

I chose green tones for this card! The base is Mossy Meadow. The matte is Wild Wasabi. The images are Mossy Meadow, and the small rectangles are Mint Macaron.  That Mint Macaron is a tricky one! When you look at it, it's green.  But when you hold it up against the green, it has a bluish tint! But I think it sure pulls the greens here!

I used my new stamp set From Land to Sea for the jellyfish! Kind of an interesting image! It needed more "oceany" stuff though, so I added the little fishies from Sea Street!  When I stamped the jellyfish, I embossed with some Iridescent Ice. Gives it a bit of bling & movement.

The sentiment is from A Dozen Thoughts-becoming one of my favorite go-to sentiment sets. Simply stamped, cut & edges shaded!

Finished it off with some of my new Mossy Meadow Striped Cotton Ribbon!!! That stuff is nice & thick! I could use it in some household decorating! Quality stuff!!!

Now head on over to The Paper Plunge and see what color schemes the other designers have come up with for you! You'll see some great designs!!!

Happy Stampin!
