COLORING DOWN THE LINES

Happy Wednesday!!
It's time for our weekly "Coloring Down the Lines" blog hop!!!

Maybe you've "hopped" here from Helen's blog!!! Don't ya just love what she did with these colors?? Nice!!!

This week was tricky!!! Our choice of colors was Baja Breeze, Calypso Coral & Daffodil Delight, or Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red & Basic Gray!
Now if you know me, you know the Calypso Coral & Daffodil Delight are right up my alley! But when I put the Riding Hood Red & Basic Gray with the Baja Breeze, I saw "winter"!!! So I'm saving the other combo for later in the winter when I need some "sun" in my life!!! lol

So here's what I came up with.

It's a little different than my usual style.  It's kind of "half" a card-if that makes sense!!! I didn't do anything inside yet, but I will probably stamp a sentiment under the flap & sign below so the signature shows.
Of course the reindeer has a red nose-in honor of my friend Gail who has a little thing going with Rudolph! ;)

Here's a close up of the flap!

As I look at this picture it's hard to see, but there is a stamp in the set that looks like sprigs of mistletoe stamped on the edges. The red marker for the berries shows up, but the sprig image is stamped in Baja Breeze.  It really DOES show up nicely in person! Honest!!! lol

Well, hope you like it!! Head on over to Sandy's blog & see what she came up with! I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do!!!

Happy Stampin'!

CHRISTMAS IN OCTOBER!

Got playing with my new stamp set, "Joyous Celebration"", the other day!! This stamp set is found in the Holiday Mini Catalog

Now this stamp set is designed to go with the Holiday Frame embossing folder, but I wanted to try it without!
Of course I have several with the folder-it's awesome!!!
But I was trying to use the stamp set without for different ideas-so not necessary to purchase an extra item!

Here are some of what I came up with!

So as you can see, the set is really versatile even without the wonderful embossing folder! It sure does help tho to have the Large Oval Punch!!! But again, not necessary!!! I just like ovals!!!

Let me know if you'd like the deets!!! I'm happy to share!!!

Happy Stampin'!!!
