COLORING DOWN THE LINES!!!!

Hey all!!! Here we go again!!! It's Coloring Down the Lines Blog Hop time!!! Nice bright colors this week! We are a small group this week but strong!!!

Our little added piece is to use a non-standard fold on the card. Meaning not the standard fold in half!!! So here's what I came up with!

I rarely use this stamp set-From My Heart. Not sure why. It's a nice set! Most of my customers, however, tend to need cards for specific occasions-birthday, sympathy, thinking of you, etc.  This one has more general statements of the heart. I think I may use it more often. The images are nice & large & most work well with one Framelit or other!!!

Now the fold! Ok, so I tri-folded the card! I've discovered using the 

Scallop Edge Tag Topper punch to be very versatile! Here I'm using it as a "clasp" of sorts for the card! One side I cut from the card base. Cute trick! Wanna learn how???  The other end I used a 2" tag of a different color (Garden Green) for some umph.  I'm wondering if I could've added something. Something makes me think it's a bit plain. Do you have suggestions what I could add? It's a neat card to give as a gift though. The recipient gets to open the little bow & all! A little like a little gift all on its own!!!

Speaking of ribbon, I am in LOVE with the new 1/4" Cotton Ribbon!!! It is soooo nice to work with! Easy to make a bow or a know or whatever. Elegant yet casual. Love it!!!!

Colors used this week are Blushing Bride, Real Red, Basic Gray, 

Garden Green & Pistachio Pudding. Skipped the Pear Pizzazz this time!!!
