COLORING DOWN THE VICTORIAN LINES!!!

Welcome Blog Hoppers to another week of Coloring Down the LInes!!

If you're hopping over from Helen's blog, be sure to stay & visit a bit!!! Then keep going over to Laura's!!! She's next!!! But don't stop there!!! Lots of cool things to see!!!

So this week's colors are in the "blues" family!!!

Our added piece is Victorian! Tough one for me! I'm not a Victorian kinda gal! I love how this blog hop takes me out of my box!!!  So I hope you Victorian stampers will forgive if mine isn't uber Victorian!! lol

So here's my card:

...and the inside!!

I think it's an interesting card.  I used Life's Adventures. It's one of the really cool new Hostess stamp sets from the Big Book!!!!  I like this one!!! It's versatile,  I could "color" if I wanted to!!  I thought the bike was kinda Victorian. Maybe?  My research turned up lots of bikes!!

I framed it with my Label Collection Framelits! The Finishing Touches Framelits added a little lacy look to the bottom! It seems to be a Victorian thing!

Ok, I will own up to a couple of retired things. First, I used an embossing folder from the Holiday Catalog because it had words. Again, seemed Victorian!

I used the Finishing Flourishes stamp set to add the background, then embossed. Direct ink to paper added the kinda distressed look.

The ribbons are both retired. However, Perfect Plum is still a current color! Ill miss the Crochet Trim tho. There is a new one in the new catalog however that's pretty awesome!!!

So hope it's appealing!!! I'd give it to a good friend!! lol

So until next week!
Happy Stampin'!!!
