BUH BYE BUDDY!

Just another retired product card! Can ya tell I'm having a hard time letting go?! lol

I tend to love monochromatic or 2-color cards.  The white background makes this pop I think.

So first, the DSP is English Garden. I don't have too much of that left! I love that pack! The green is Mossy Meadow from the 14-16 In-Colors. Yup, going, going, gone!

The side is actually the Bordering Blooms stamp set! I can't tell you how much I have used this particular stamp! I like the border ones, but this one has been a standard for me.  I just love the way it looks!

The sentiment is Sassy Salutations. That's been around for awhile, and I've used it so very much. It's gonna take me awhile to get used to all the new sentiment stamps. Right now i totally have my "go-to's"! I cut the sentiment out with the Labels Collection Framelits-retired last year.  Why I ask!

Using up all my Striped Cotton Ribbon. So pretty and earthy! That's me-earthy! lol

So hope you enjoyed this retiring products card! Today I got my first shipment of goodies from the new catalog! Hopefully they help me "deal" with saying goodbye! lol

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

It's Wednesday! You know what that means!
Coloring Down the Lines Blog Hop
day!

You maybe hopped over from Helen's blog! Next is Lizzy's blog! Be sure to visit them all! Pretty colors this week!

So here's this week's card:

Here is the inspiration photo:

Here are the Stampin' Up! colors:

So I've been revisiting my Simply Scored Board these days!  I like to use it as an embellishment of sorts on the card! Love how the lines look!  I used it to make a border this time!

I also used my brandy new embossing folder-Elegant Dots! I. Love. It!!! When I first saw it in the catalog I just jumped over it. But it is so pretty in person!!! Very versatile!

The flowers are stamped with Beautiful Bunch stamp set & punched with the coordinating Fun Flower Punch!  The border on the side is stamped with Bordering Blooms. The sentiment is from Crazy about You! Some creative use of the little Word Window Punch and the Triple Banner Punch.

Add the Candy Dots for dimension & the 7/8" Scallop Punch & voila!  Hope you like! Now go visit the rest of our designers this week!!!

PLUNGING ON THIN LAYER!!!

Over at
this week we are creating cards with only 1 layer! Now for many of us that's really tough! So much to play with!!! But I actually LOVE 1-layer cards!!!

Here's mine:

It's a simple card, yet I think it packs a punch! There are 3 stamp sets used here! Bordering Blooms, Feel Goods, and Kinda Eclectic!  It's an upbeat, positive, cheery card! I used my Stampin' Markers to color the flowers!

See some colors you don't recognize? There are new In-Colors there!!! Next week you'll be able to order your own!!!! They are so pretty this time! And they coordinate so nicely with all our current colors!

By the way, I stamped this on one of our Note Cards! They come in
Whisper White & Crumb Cake & with matching envelopes! A bit smaller than a normal card, but they are perfect for any sentiment! I used them frequently!!

So now head over to The Paper Plunge and see what the rest of the Design Team has in store for you! I've seen some & they're really cool! Be sure to visit their blogs! Oh, and get creative! Add your own creation!!!! All are welcome! Just must be Stampin' Up! products!!! Have fun! Can't wait to see what you come up with!!!

PLUNGING WITH A TREAT!!!

Happy Halloween all!!!! It's Friday! And time for another
The Paper Plunge!!!!
This week's challenge was to create "anything but a card"!!!  A little more challenging but fun!

So I created a cute little treat holder! It's kind of hard to tell, but it's perfect for m&m's!!!

It's a cute little 5-sided tube with a cover created using the retired Fancy Flower Punch.  I wish they wouldn't retire the punches!!! Although it is still available on our amazing Clearance Rack!!!!

It's perfect for cardstock or DSP. I didn't have any current Halloween DSP left, so I used my Bordering Bloom stamp set to create the design! It's just the right size!
I added a few little images from the Holiday Home stamp set from the
Holiday Catalog. Little cuties!!
The ghost & pumpkin are of course from the very popular Fall Fest stamp set, also in the Holiday Catalog!

It's a cute little way to get a Halloween (or other!) treat! Want to know how to make it?? Let me know! I'd be happy to do a little Private Class for you & your friends!!!! Contact me now!!!

So be sure to hop over to The Paper Plunge and check out what the other members of the Design Team came up with! I know you'll get some great ideas! Then you can even add your OWN
"anything but a card"!!!

Happy Stampin!
