PPP BLOG HOP-SAFARI CELEBRATION!

Welcome to this month's Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop! We are sharing some fun ideas from our February kit called Safari Celebration! This is a fun kit! Check out our alternatives!!!

Here's my card:

As usual, I try really hard to keep the alternatives to the materials within the kit. I think it's important to feature what fun can be done with only the kit materials! While it is fun to pull in all our other materials, I like to think of the kit as a      "grab-&-go" experience! That way if you go on vacation. or the doctor's office, or waiting in the pick-up line, you can use all the materials that are self-contained! Right in your little Paper Pumpkin box!

I kept the leaves the focus of the card. It totally changes the tone of the kit! Although I do miss the fun animals!

Here are what the original designs in the kit look like:

So cute right? I have so many more ideas running in my head!

Now hop to Lisa Ann's blog. She's up next! Simply click on her name here or the icon below! Then visit the rest of the blogs in our hop! So much fun & ideas!

ICS BLOG HOP-SIMPLY MARBLEOUS

Happy New Year! And welcome to a new year of the                                           Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop

We are starting off with a big treat! It's Sale-a-Bration time!!!!!                                                                           That's right! For every $50 you spend you can earn a beautiful exclusive FREE product! But only through February!

We also have a beautiful new January-June 2022 Mini Catalog (J to J) from which to choose your purchased items!!! (as well as our amazing Annual Catalog!)  We are featuring the Sale-a-Bration (SAB) items on this hop!!! Hop through and ENJOY!!!

Here's my card this month:

The item from the SAB Catalog that I'm featuring is the                                    Simply Marbleous 6x6 Designer Series Paper!                                            This is a big WOW! Sooooo pretty!  I thought this blue tone reminded me of the sea, so I combined it with a new bundle from the J to J Catalog-Lets' Set Sail! It's a stamp set with a cool Sailboat Builder Punch! Being a girl from Cape Cod I  NEEDED the sailboat set!!!! And oh how it works with this DSP!

The DSP is reversible and includes all these colors: Balmy Blue, Basic Gray, Blushing Bride, Bumblebee, Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Misty Moonlight, Pool Party, Smoky Slate, So Saffron!! This will go with pretty much every color cardstock you may have! One side is very swirly like this card, and the reverse side is more subtle. Super versatile!!!

Other items I used on this card are the '21-'23 In-Color Jewels and the Layering Circle Dies.

I hope you've enjoyed this product! I know I sure do! Now hop to Darla's blog & see what she is featuring from the SAB Catalog! Simply click on her name here or the icon below!! Then keep hopping!!! Enjoy!

NEW AT SU BLOG HOP-BOOKMARK GIFT CARD HOLDER

This month our New at SU Blog Hop we are featuring anything but a card! As stampers, we do like to create different paper crafts! This hop will give you some fun, creative ideas on what else you can do with all you Stampin' Up! products!!!

Here's what I made:

So I call this a "Bookmark Gift Card Holder"! Now it opens like a card but it's so much more!!  I designed this for my dog-loving friend to go with a Barnes & Noble gift card.  I haven't bought it yet tho! lol It would work for any gift card tho. I thought the bookmark made sense. But you could probably add a candy cane or maybe pencils/pens/or markers or something to go with a different gift card. Lots of room for alternatives here.  The piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock is in there as a marker since I didn't have the gift card.

It was created using 1 sheet of 11x8 1/2 cardstock. It's simply a 3-fold with a bit cut out to create the fold for the gift card.

The DSP is from one of my faves this season-Sweet Stockings 12x12 DSP pack.  The Cherry Cobbler print is the backside of all the adorable puppies & kitties! The dogs are fussy cut from the front. I have so many pet-loving friends that I had to have this DSP!

The bookmark is simply a 1 1/2" piece of cardstock with the end punched with the Tailored Tag Punch. Add a hole punch & some beautiful                              Cherry Cobbler & Gold Ribbon & you have a bookmark!

Stamp sets used are the Peaceful Cabin and Snowman Season. Other products used are the Layering Circles Dies and the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

Next up on our hop is Joyce. Simply click on her name here or on the icon below!

I would like to wish you all a very happy Holiday season, and blessings for a happy, healthy & new year filled with love.  See you in '22!!!!

Happy Stampin'!

INSPIRE, CREATE, SHARE BLOG HOP-SNOWFLAKE WISHES THANK YOU

Here we are on our last Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop of 2021! Where did this year go?? Well we are showing our "thanks" this month! For oh so many things!

Here's my card this month:

This is designed as a thank you for some amazing Christmas gifts or hospitality or fun!  The card is designed using Snowflake Wishes. This is one of my beloved stamp sets from the Annual Catalog. I used the matching                                 So Many Snowflake Dies to cut the snowflakes!

I'm not sure if there's an actual name for this type of card but I call it a "peek-a-boo" card. The sentiment is heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder on the inside, but it shows through the opening in the front cut with the                Layering Circle Dies. Kind of a 2-for-1!

I had to use my Peaceful Place 12x12 DSP! I don't want to waste one single inch of that paper! When I saw it in the Holiday Mini, I wasn't sure about it.  Pretty but eh.  Until I saw it in person! It is one of my favorite DSP packs EVER!!!! This paper is gorgeous! And it pairs so well with this equally beautiful                                  Silver Foil Specialty DSP Pack!

I thought the Metallic Mesh Ribbon worked perfectly with the snowflakes. It was originally designed as like a spider web-for Halloween. But I think it looks like cracked ice-winter chilly! I used it more for winter cards than I ever did for spider webs!

Other products used are the Stitched Rectangle dies and the                      Elegant Faceted Gems

So next up on the hop is Janey.  Simply click on her name or the icon below.

And I would like to add here that I am most thankful for you all for joining me on my Stampin' Up! journey! My customers, followers, commenters, fellow stampers, etc. You all made my 2021 a bit brighter! I appreciate you all! Best wishes for a wonderful Holiday Season & blessings for a safe, healthy & happy New Year!       See you in '22!!!

Merry Stampin'!
