COLORING DOWN THE LINES!!!

Do you know what day it is? It's Hump Day!! Nah, it's blog hop day!!! Welcome to this week's edition of Coloring Down the Lines!!!

Hello again to the visitors from Helen's Blog! Don't ya just love what she does with this new design?! I sure do! I also really love what Laura does!!! Be sure to hop to her blog & check it out!!! Very cool!! But then remember to not stop! Keep going until you're back here! Be sure to leave a comment! We love to hear from people!!!

So here's this week's Design Seed. Pretty colors.

Here's how it translates over to Stampin' Up! colors-as designed in MDS by our leader, Robbie!!

And here's my creation!

Ok I know I know! A green flower? Well I like it! lol And I really wanted to use my new Blendabilities this week!!! The only color I have from this group is
Old Olive!! So bear with me! I think it's cool!

This card was designed with a special customer/friend in mind who just lost her mom. She also LOVES to watercolor, & I know she's gonna love these Blendabilities even more!!!

Now I have a really long way to go with practice here so don't look for the problems with the flower!!! lol  I'm still a newbie with these They're not tough, but take some practice. I just can't believe they won't be available to the public until August!!! Ugh!! I want them all!!!!

I only used 4 colors from the list this week.  I didn't like the way Pistachio Pudding looked with the others & I thought putting red in there with the greens was too Christmas like! Please, I'm still waiting for spring!!!!!

I'm gonna miss this stamp set most of all the ones that are
gone-Peaceful Petals. These flowers are beautiful. Now don't misunderstand. There are some beauties in the new catalog-just wait til you see!!! But I'm attached to this set!  Ahh, change!!!!

It's a fairly simple card because I wanted to highlight the flower. I think it's pretty & suitable for a sympathy card. Altho I rarely use "With Sympathy" on a card. Always "Thinking of You". Just my thing.

I threw in the Tempting Turquoise because it needed to pop. Kinda flat without. And of course the Dazzling Details for bling! Gotta have bling! And my friend is addicted to bling!!!

So go hope around & enjoy everyone else's creation! It's a talented bunch of ladies! Hope you had fun here!!! And I sure hope my friend enjoys her card. She will get it later this week. It comes with a big hug!

Happy Stampin'!
