PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT-SENDING LOVE DSP

This week in our Product Spotlight group we are once again featuring the Sending Love Designer Series Paper (DSP)!  This is a gorgeous 6x6 paper stack with only Real Red & Whisper White! Perfect for Valentine's Day, but any other "red" occasion will work too!!!

This week on our hop please go forward Robbie's blog or backward to
Helen's blog! Lots of great stuff here!

Here's my card:

So I wasn't gonna do another Valentine's Day card, rather feature the DSP in another way. But I needed some Valentine's cards so I went with it! lol It actually could just be used for a "lovey dovey" kind of moment too!

The stamp set is Vertical Greetings. This is one of my favorites from the Annual Catalog. I have used this stamp for wedding & anniversary cards, but never before for a Valentine's card! This was a big "outside the box" moment for me! lol

The Red Glitter Embossing Powder worked well with this! So pretty! Adds just the right amount of bling!  Sending Love Ribbon Combo Pack rounds out the card!!! I will admit, I removed the heart that says Happy Valentine's Day & put it on the inside after I photographed the card! I liked it better that way!

Hope you enjoyed & are inspired to grab this DSP! Remember, it's
Sale-a-Bration time!!!

Happy Stampin'!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES-NO HEART!

Hey all! So our challenge this week on the
Coloring Down the Lines Blog Hop
I thought was going to put me over the edge! lol It turned out to be one of my faves!!!

First, I'm glad you're here! Helen's amazing blog is before mine in the hop, and Sandy's loveliness follows mine! Please be sure to hop all the way through & check them out! Comments always welcome!

So this week's challenge was to create a Valentine's Day card without using hearts! Wait-What? Well this really forced me to check out my stamp sets to see what I could do!!! I love that! I actually found several that would work perfectly for Valentine's Day that I never considered!!!  I love how this came out!

Here's the card:

And Robbie's instructions:

So this was kind of fun! I first have to say I'm thrilled that Stampin' Up! continued the Red Glitter Embossing Powder from the Holiday Catalog! I've used it more for Valentine's Day than for Christmas! lol  It is currently an addiction!

For this card, I used the Balloon Celebrations stamp set! With all the holidays, I haven't visited my regulars for a bit! Nice to see them again!  The words & lips are from the Sealed with Love stamp set! This is in our current
Occasions Catalog! Such an awesome set!  I backed the balloons with the beautiful Sending Love DSP, and embellished with the
Sending Love Ribbon Combo Pack.  It's actually a very simple card, but I love how it came out! Valentines with no heart! lol Doesn't sound right does it?!

So I'm so anxious to see what my hop-mates come up with!!! Tomorrow more Sending Love DSP in our Product Spotlight!!!  Hope you enjoy!

Coloring Down the Lines Blog Hop!!!!
Didn't we just finish Christmas?? LOL

Welcome hoppers from Helen's blog!!!! Keep hopping to Lizzy's place when you are finished here-then keep going!!!! Enjoy!!!

This week our Valentine Card can NOT have red or pink!!! Hmmm??? Tough one? You'll see some beauties here!!!

Here's my card:

And our inspiration:

So I started with my Affectionately Yours DSP. This is one of my all-time paper packs! I just think these colors are beautiful!!!!  Then I pulled out the Blossoms Punch & started punching away!!!! I just thought a flower heart was unique. Haven't seen one out there!

The sentiment is from the January My Paper Pumpkin kit! Just got it! And it's punch out with the Sweetheart Punch!  Added some of the
Sending Love Embellishments & Night of Navy Baker's Twine & voila! Valentine with no red or pink!! Well, the Watermelon Wonder is sorta pinkish, but it's definitely not the focus of the card, so I'm ok with that! Plus, it's not really pink! lol

Happy Stampin'!!!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

We are in our last real week ( I hope! lol) of winter loving' here at the
Coloring Down the Lines Blog Hop!
I'm so over winter already, & it really just started!!! This week we are once again looking at shades of blue with a snow theme, but the kicker is we need to use an embossing folder that is not Softly Falling! That's a tough one because that's a perfect folder for snow! lol

Hello hoppers from Helen's blog! Make sure you keep hopping on to
Lizzy's blog to get some great snowy ideas!!! And keep going! Perfect for the snow days that are bound to keep us stampin' in the near future! Ugh!

Here's my snowy card this week:

So the folder I chose to use is the Woodlands Embossing Folder!  It always reminds me of a walk through the woods-whatever the weather! But right now my woods look very white having just had an 8" snowfall. Nothing for us New Englanders, but it's still pretty white!

Now I don't like how the bottom of this photographed. I tried so many photos to get the sparkle to show up! The Dazzling Diamonds Glitter doesn't really pop as nicely in the picture. But in real life it truly looks like glittering snow!

The stamp sets used are the snowflakes from the Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set and the sentiment from the Watercolor Wishes stamp set.  Sentiment was cut out using
Lots of Labels Framelits!

The beautiful ribbon is from the new Occasions Catalog. It's from the
3/8" Metallic Ribbon Combo 2-pack! The other one has pretty gold in it! Great ribbon!!

So I hope you felt snowy today! I'm so not a fan of snow & very much looking forward to spring!! But this snowy card warmed my heart!  Hope it did yours too!

Happy Stampin'!

SEALED WITH LOVE! PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT!

Welcome to the Thursday Project Spotlight!!! This week we are featuring the Sealed With Love
product suite from the brand NEW OCCASIONS CATALOG that went live just yesterday!!!! So excited!!!

We are a little blog hop here, so we have a few ideas for you! This week it's just the three of us-myself, Robbie and Amanda!!! Be sure to check out their blogs too for some fun ideas for this AMAZING group of products!

Here's my card this week:

So I really wanted to feature the items in a non-Valentine's way! I wasn't feeling Valentines when I made this as I still had my Christmas decorations up! lol It's also cool to show that these items do not need to be used for a holiday-specific project!!!

This is just a simple "love note"!!!  Using the Sealed with Love stamp set and the coordinating Love Notes Framelits really makes this whole suite easy! Here I paired it all with the Affectionately Yours DSP instead of the red/white coordinating one, and used the Mint Macaron background instead of red or pink. I don't think this is very Valentines-y do you?

Look at that cool edge on the Love Notes Framelits! So awesome!!! And that little envelope is so fun!!! There are actually 2 sizes in the framelits for envelopes. So much fun! The little embellishments from the
Mini Paper Clip Combo Pack are great too!!

The amazing OCCASIONS CATALOG is NOW LIVE!!!! Check it out!!!!

And don't forget about SALE-A-BRATION!!!! It's that AMAZING SALE of the year!!! EVERYTHING in the SALE-A-BRATION CATALOG is FREE!!!!!
Oh ya! You heard me right!!!!  FREE!!!!!

Happy Stampin'!!!!

ICS BLOG HOP-HEY CHICK!

I am so excited my stampin' pals today we kick off the annual Sale-A-Brations promotion AND to inspire you our blog hop theme this month is
Let's Sale-A-Brate!
How fun and how lucky are we to kick off the annual promo with a hop!
Have you seen the Sale-A-Brations catalog yet...oh my so many choices! You can view it HERE!!!!! It went live today!!! You may have already received yours. If you don't have a demonstrator and need a copy feel free to make arrangements to come get a copy!

Here's my project this month:

I have had so much fun with these little guys!!! The stamp set is called Hey, Chick!!! I still can't believe you can get it for FREE!!!!!

Instead of a single card, I made these 4 little 3x3 "love" notes. I think they make a really cute little gift set. I've done this before. Created several similar 3x3's then wrapped a pretty ribbon around them & gave as a gift! These are the cutest ever though!!!!! lol

I also wanted to try out the new Watercolor Pencils!!! They work great with the
Blender Pens or Aqua Painters! Just enough color!!!

Here's what each one looks like:

I surely don't have a favorite!!! These chicks (and egg-although it doesn't matter which is first!) are equally adorbs!!!!

Materials used were Hey, Chick stamp set, Watercolor Pencils, Blender Pen, Cupcake & Carousels DSP Pack, Very Vanilla Baker's Twine, Wink of Stella.

Since both the new Occasions Catalog and the Sale-a-Bration Catalog are NOW LIVE, keep hopping to get some great ideas!!! And remember, Sale-a-Bration stuff is exclusive and FREE!!!!!!

Next up is Candy.  Then just keep going! You will be so inspired!!!!! You can get to her by either clicking her name or the icon below!!!! Comments always welcome! Thanks for joining us!

Happy Stampin'!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!!

Happy New Year! And welcome to our first
Coloring Down the Lines Blog Hop
of 2017!! I can't believe Christmas is over & it's already January 4!!! Yikes!!!

This week we are using blues with snow and a pop of bling!!! You may have noticed that if you came here from Helen's blog! You'll see more great stuffs if you continue on to Lizzy's blog & beyond!!!!

Here's my card:

Here's the inspiration photo:

So trying to do this card without making it a Christmas card was a bit challenging! Especially after making Christmas cards almost exclusively during December! lol But I thought this worked as a nice thank you card for the Christmas or Hanukkah gifts! Appropriate, right?

I decided to revisit an old technique that I loved back in the day. It's called the Brick Wall Technique! I changed it a bit here from the old way though.

So here's the story! I used my Brick Folder Embossing Folder and created "lines" like a brick wall on my embossed and sponged cardstock.  Then I cut along those lines and placed them like a brick wall! Easy peasy, but I think it looks cool!!!

My bling here is the white Heat embossing of the beautiful snowflakes from Flurry of Wishes!!! If you look very closely, you can see the little
Metallic Embellishment stars in the center of the big snowflakes. Usually the camera picks up the shine, but I couldn't get it to happen this time. When you see it in person though, there is a nice shimmer there!

Materials used besides the stamp set, and those listed are the
Dapper Denim Rouched Ribbon, Teeny Tiny Wishes for the sentiment, Snowflake Builder Punch, VersaMark & Dapper Denim Ink Pads!

Hope you enjoyed and that the only snow you see is that here on our hop! I'm not a winter girl!!! lol
