PLUNGING TO THE FAIR!

This week over at
we are going to the County Fair!  Our creations are either fall, or animal or "fair" based! This week, my card, ya, I don't know! lol

Here it is:

So I just had some fun! Here in MA we have a big fair called The Big E-or officially Eastern States Exposition.  Now I've been several times. Not really sure I saw a zebra there, but maybe! lol  So this is what I had for animals, and since I did the cow last week, I thought I'd go for a "horse in Watermelon Wonder striped pajamas"!!!

Yup!  A very simple card. Kinda cute I guess, but not sure where my mind was!! lol

The cool background DSP is from the Go Wild DSP stack! I love that!!! Such cool animal/jungle designs! Grrrr!  The Watermelon Wonder zebra stripes on the front are from the It's Wild single large stamp! That's cool! Could do a wall with it! lol

Other items used are Dotted Lace Trim, Barnyard Babies (for the zebra), and Sassy Salutations for the greeting!

So just a fun card today. No meaning behind it! Go hope over now to
The Paper Plunge where I'm sure you'll see plenty of "fair" creations!!!

Happy Stampin'!!!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

Hello hoppers! Glad you could join us for our weekly
Coloring Down the Lines Blog Hop!!
You probably hopped here from Helen's blog! Or maybe you're starting here, but either way, keep going to Lizzy's blog & beyond! Great colors this week!

So here's my card:

And the inspiration photo:

And the Stampin' Up! colors:

I so love this one. Now you may or may not know this about me, but I'm a cow person! I have cows all over my kitchen. Not real ones of course, altho I do live in the country! lol  So when I saw this stamp set, Barnyard Babies, I had to have it! That cow is adorable!

Interestingly enough I needed a card for a friend's daughter who is turning 10, so I thought I'd use this  week's challenge to make it happen!

I'm a fan of this color scheme! Now u may be wondering where I found that great striped paper in the background. Well let me tell you! It came from the
Go Wild DSP Stack.  Now the paper is actually black & white, but I wanted to pull in the Sahara Sand, so I simply sponged the white parts. I love how it looks like this!

I've been using the Bow Builder Punch quite a bit lately. I find it works perfectly for that "ribbon" touch when you don't have that color ribbon! I still need to stock up on ribbons from the new Annual Catalog! I bought so many stamp sets that I ran out of funds for the ribbons! lol

The tag was cut from the Chalk Talk Framelits Dies. And I will cop to a retired clip as an embellishment. I didn't have a current one that worked, but you can add a different on if you want. Or you can really just use a paper clip!

The sentiment is from the Sprinkles of Life stamp set. That's our
Ronald McDonald House stamp set this year. $3 from each set sold goes to the Ronald McDonald House! It's a great one to get & helps out a bunch of kids as well.

Well you can go hop now!! Be sure to visit them all! It'd be great to leave a comment as well! We love the feedback!!

Happy Stamping'!
