NEW AT SU BLOG HOP-SKETCH CHALLENGE

This month on New at SU Blog Hop this group of international Stampin' Up! demonstrators as been given a sketch challenge! Now these are my favorites! I love being given a "map" of sorts to follow! During a sketch challenge you can follow it exactly or add your own flair as long as it still follow the sketch!

Here's the sketch:

Here's my card:

This card was a bit of work but so much fun to make!!!!!! The leaves were heat embossed on Vellum Cardstock using gold & copper embossing powders and the Autumn Leaves stamp set, and cut with the Autumn Leaves Dies. The backs were colored with Stampin' Blends to add some lighter color.

The backdrop paper is from the All About Autumn Specialty DSP! Oh so pretty!!!

Other materials used on this card are the So Sincere stamp set,                 Brushed Metallic Dots, Bakers Twine.

I hope you enjoyed this interpretation of the sketch! Now please go visit the other blogs listed below! I'm sure you'll find some great inspiration to try this sketch on your own!!!

Happy Stampin'!!!

ICS-GILDED AUTUMN SPECIALTY DSP

Welcome to the September edition of Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop! Wow. I can't believe we've made it to September! lol 2020 is on its way out-thank goodness!!!
Anyway, this month we are featuring some of the amazing products from our August-December 2020 Mini Catalog using fancy folds!!! Now fancy folds can really make a card special! It's always fun to receive a card & have it open in a fun way! Well you'll get plenty of inspiration here on this blog hop this month!!!!

Here's my card:

So I decided to use a slimline card for my fun little diagonal fancy fold!!! I've been doing a lot of these! A slimline is almost a fancy fold on its own! But I thought this was kind of fun! This amazing Autumn Gilded Specialty DSP-oh I can't say enough!! It is gorgeous!!!! I've already used most of the pack!!! It really is the star of the show here, so there's minimal stamping. I did use the Love of Leaves stamp set for the sentiments and the inside leaf. I thought it worked well for an inside/outside sentiment card! By the way that is my current fave stamp set!!!! Oh my!!!

The only add-ons are the Champagne Rhinestones & the Mint Macaron ribbon from the Basketweave Metallic Combo!!!

Oh, the envelope I created using the In Good Taste DSP. It's not an exact match but I thought it was kind of "earthy" to go with the colors on the card!

Hope you enjoyed this fancy fold!!! Now hop on over to Terri's blog to see what cool fold she has to share!  Just click on her name or the icon below!  Then keep going! Lots of inspiration!

Happy Stampin'!

ICS-ROOTED IN NATURE

So much to my dismay we are welcoming Fall!! I mean it's all good, but I'm such a summer girl I just hate to see it go! But I did have my first cup of pumpkin spice coffee the other day so that makes it a bit easier!!
Certainly fall is a lovely time for crafting, however! And we are here to show you some
Fabulous Fall creations!!!!

Here's my card:

So I've had a very busy summer with some family stuffs going on, so I've barely had time to even look at the beautiful Fall Catalog which is now LIVE by the way!!!! So I started digging through some of my beautiful stamps from the Annual Catalog & remembered this beautiful stamp set-Rooted in Nature!!! I so love this set! It's fine year round, but I love the beautiful trees! And combine them with the Nature's Roots coordinating framelits it's a win-win situation!!! The colors on the tree were done with our Stampin' Markers!

This card was created using the amazing new
Magnolia Lane Large Specialty Memories & More Cards & Envelopes
Long name for a beautiful card base! And when I think of fall I think of more rustic tones. These are the perfect color! The gold trim adds just the right amount of bling. Now you may be asking which DSP I used for the background? Nope. Not DSP. It's the beautiful Birch stamp! It covers a large area so is perfect for background! Now I know here I didn't use traditional birch colors, but the browns matched the card base better!

The little leaves use the gorgeous Perennial Essence Vellum. And the trim is the Braided Linen Trim. The only extra are a couple of gold sequins I had from a recent Paper Pumpkin set.

I hope this gets you happy for fall. I'm still mourning summer. It seemed to get chilly here after a very humid August. Hoping for a nice extended Indian Summer! lol

Please hop over to Candy's blog to see her summer creation then keep going!!! You will some something amazing all the way along! Simply click on her name or the icon below! Enjoy!!!!

Happy Stampin'!

ICS BLOG HOP-MANY BLESSINGS

This month on the Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop we are celebrating
Fall for All!!! Beautiful fall creations featuring products from our amazing new Holiday Catalog will be featured!!!!
Now everyone knows I'm a summer girl, but fall is second best! Here in
New England we have the most vibrant colors! Lots of apple picking, pumpkins & corn stalks, hay bales & lots more happen around here! Although this year we've had so much rain it's hard to see any colors at all! So looking forward to this blog hop to make my colors shine!!!

Here's my fall creation this month:

This was a fun, clean-and-fairly simple card to make. That's my style!!! This is the Many Blessings stamp set! It was inspired by one of Stampin' Up's Million Sales Achievers-Ruth Snyder! I really like it because it works for anything from early fall right through Christmas! A super versatile, fun stamp set!

And it's perfect to use with our amazing Stampin' Blends! Ok I love to color. Don't judge! lol This like "grown up" coloring! And I love how these colors really made me think fall!

I used the Layered Leaves Dynamic Embossing Folder. Now usually I spritz the card stock a bit with water before I emboss with these folders, but this time I wanted a softer finish-so no water! Still pretty but a nice light finish!

I love this kind of peek-a-boo style card!!! It just adds a little something extra to a pretty greeting card.   Easy to do with all the Layering Circle Framelits & Circle Punches we have! I used a combo here! And the photopolymer stamps are "flexible" so i was able to fit that wreath-like stamp on the round strip!

Finished it all off with the Braided Linen Trim! I am very happy with this one! Love my Stampin' Blends!

Now hop on over to Megan's blog & see what she is featuring for Fall for All!!!  Then keep going & check out everyone else's! Just click on her name or the icon below! Happy fall y'all!!!

Happy Stampin'!

You've probably arrived here from Helen's happenin' blog! When you are through hop over to Lizzy's blog for some thankful cheer!

Here's my card:

Here's the inspiration photo:

So this was just a fun card to use some items I haven't brought out in awhile. I wanted to use my Swirly Scribbles Framelits. Haven't seen them in awhile! There is a stamp set to go with, but I didn't use it here!

You may recognize the 15-17 In-Colors here! Strawberry Slush, Cucumber Crush & Tip-Top Taupe! It was a dreary day when I created this so I wanted something bright to cheer things up!

The beautiful background is from the Affectionately Yours DSP. The only embellishments are the Burlap Ribbon, Natural Twine & Pearl Basic Jewels.  The sentiment is from the Crazy About You stamp set!

So just a fun card this week! Next week we begin the month of December! And you can probably guess what we will be featuring then!!! Can I just say-BLING!!! WOOHOO!!!!!

Happy Stampin'!

Welcome back hoppers from Helen's blog!! We missed you last week! Onward to Lizzy's after here!!! I know you'll enjoy them all!!!

Here's my card:

Here's the inspiration this week:

So I wanted to do something pretty for Thanksgiving! I absolutely LOVE this Paisley Suite!  I want to just stamp away!!!

So the stamp set is called Paisleys & Posies! It has the most amazing matching Paisley Framelits!!! It's so easy & versatile1 Perfect for any occasion! It's my current fave! You'll see lots of it! lol

I heat embossed the images with Copper Embossing Powder on our most beautiful Copper Foil Sheets! Wow are these beautiful in person!!! The embossing really brings it out too!!!!  Then I added some Burlap Ribbon and a few Pearl Basics to finish it off! I'm very happy with how this card turned out!!!

All these items are in the Holiday Catalog!  We are never sure if they will be carried over into the Annual Catalog! So if you see something you like, then grab it while you can!!! This catalog is only good until the end of December!!

Now hop away to see how everyone else is showing thanks!!!

Happy Stamping'!!!!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES

Last week of September. What???? I still can't believe summer is over! Where did this month go???? Well here we are for a new
Coloring Down the Lines
At least some things remain constant!

Hello hoppers from Helen's blog!!! Glad you're here-AGAIN!! Now for the other piece of bread on this blog hop sandwich-Miss Lizzy's blog!!!! Please go there  next!!!!

So here's my card and this week:

And here is our inspiration-type photo:

So I'm a bit low on apple stamp sets! lol I tended to go more with Christmas in the Holiday Catalog this year than Fall. Not a huge Halloween person, altho I do love some of the stamp sets! But this one I had to dig into my faves from the Annual Catalog!

The beautiful tree is from one of my favorite stamp sets Stampin' Up! has ever come out with! It's of course Sheltering Tree!  This stamp set is not only beautiful, but it's also versatile. It can be used for just about any occasion.

Now the apples are actually from another set-Sprinkles of Life. They were cut out with the coordinating Tree Builder Punch. I thought they worked well together. The tree in that set is just a bit too small for these apples!!

The Woodlands Embossing Folder was supposed to look like the apple tree was in the forest of trees! I guess it works! lol

Over all it's a cute fall, apple-picking card to fit our blog hop this week! Hope it inspired you to go picking-apples that is!

Happy Stampin'!!!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES

Welcome back! We are
Coloring Down the Lines
on our little blog hop once again! This month we are trying something a bit different. We are not limited to specific colors, but more a color scheme with a theme! I'm loving it!  Lots more options!!!!

Well things that don't change is you are probably hopping from Helen's blog and gonna hop on over to Lizzy's blog!!! I've said before how much I love being the bologna in their sandwich! lol

So here's this week's card:

Here is the photo for inspiration:

Now I know I could've gone all out with trees & leaves & such. But see, I'm not really a fall person! I nearly had a breakdown when we covered the pool last weekend! lol

So I decided to keep it simple & use one of my fave stamp sets from the Annual Catalog-Vertical Greetings!   This stamp set was sitting on my desk saying, "Stamp with ME" so I did!  I used some Stampin' Write Markers to add the fall colors.

The background paper is from the Serene Scenery DSP Paper Stack! Sooooo love that stack of paper! Altho this is the first time I actually used the back of any of it! The front is so pretty!!!

Finished it off with a bit of the Burlap Ribbon and some Linen Thread
Red Bakers Twine to add a bit of a pop.

Fall actually begins this week so maybe next week I'll be more "there", but right now, I wanna enjoy the last couple of days of actual summer. This card is "gently fall"! I'm easing in!

Happy Stampin'!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

Here we are on this brisk not-quite-fall-yet day for our
Coloring Down the Lines Blog Hop!

Welcome hoppers from Helen's beautiful blog. Head over to Lizzie's blog when you are done! So glad to have her back!

So here's my card:

Here's the inspiration photo:

So I thought this was kind of fun! The big trick was I didn't have any pumpkin stamps or Framelits. So I created my own! I used the smaller circle from
Swirly Scribbles Framelits & trimmed it to fit a circle cut from the
1" Circle Punch! Works! It's definitely more clear in person tho!

The scarecrow from the Gingerbread Halloween stamp set is watercolored with the inks & Blender Pens and punched out with the Gingerbread Punch!

The real star here is the background paper. It comes from the
Serene Sceneries Designer Paper Stack! Love this stack! A perfect little 6x6 stack of paper with real photos! So pretty!!!

Sentiment is from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set.

Hope you enjoyed this little early touch of spring!!! Now go hop to the other blogs!!!

Happy Stampin'!!!

ICS BLOG HOP-GIVING THANKS

Happy November!! This month on our
Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop
we are "giving thanks"! November is traditionally the month we remember & acknowledge how thankful we are for the blessings we have. Thanksgiving is the big finale!  Here we are kicking it off!!!

Here is my "thankful" card:

I have loved using all my fun little My Paper Pumpkin stamps on projects other than the originals! Here, I used the little leaves from the October kit. They are perfect for anything fall!!! My goal here is that they look like they are falling in front of the wall! Kinda works I guess! The pumpkin is from that stamp set too!

I love this Brick Wall Embossing Folder! It's the perfect background! Here I highlighted the "lines" or cracks in the wall to make it stand out!

The sign is embossed using the Fun Frames Embossing Folder in our lovely Kraft paper! Very rustic! A little Basic Black Cardstock & some
White Embossing Powder give it a "chalkboard" effect! It's just hanging there with a little Brad and some Gold Cording!

The sentiment is from my favorite stamp set, For All Things! It's really perfect for any occasion of gratitude!! You see it frequently if you are a follower of this blog!

So now go visit Tina's blog & see how she gave thanks with her creation!!! Just click on her name or the ICS badge below! It'll take you right there!  Then keep hopping! This is a wonderful blog hop and will give you some very creative ideas!!!

See you next month! My guess is we will be getting you ready for the Holiday season!!!

Happy Stampin'!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

Hello! Happy fall morning! We are
Coloring Down the Lines
this week with some beautiful fall colors!!! Love this group of colors!!!

Welcome to hoppers from Helen's blog!!! Glad you are here! Don't forget to keep going to Lizzy's blog next! These colors are worth the trip!!!

Here's my card:

Here is the inspiration photo:

Here are the Stampin' Up! colors:
So this is a fairly simple card. I LOVE this stamp set, but have yet to use it this fall! I don't want it to become "overused"!  Which I know is silly because it's so pretty! So get ready to see it again! lol

The stamp set is For All Things. It can be found in the Annual Catalog! I know everyone is all about the amazing Holiday Catalog, but don't forget the beauties in the Annual Catalog! That big book is good for everything! Plus, you can get your stamp set, card stock & supplies all in the same place!!!

So you are wondering, "Where did she get that sentiment?" Well I'll tell you! It came from my October My Paper Pumpkin kit!!! Don't forget people! When you get My Paper Pumpkin, you get a beautiful original & exclusive stamp set each month!!! Once your kit is finished, you can either order more supplies to make more or use the stamp set elsewhere! I've been doing that a lot lately! There are some very nice stamps in there! Plus, you get your own little Stampin' Spots ink pads!!! I have I think every color!!!  I totally LOVE
My Paper Pumpkin!!!

Other items used are the Pearl Basic Jewels and a small strip of Crochet Trim!

Hope you like! Now get hoppin'!!!

Happy Stampin'!

You probably hopped here from Helen's blog! Don't forget to keep hopping to Lizzy's next!!! Good fun here on our little hop!!!

Here's my card:

Here's the inspiration photo:

Here's the Stampin' Up! colors:

I thought I'd keep with the fall look of the inspiration photo. Plus, the colors work great!

I just love working with this beautiful
Woodland Textured Embossing Folder! I learned this new trick & thought I'd try it here! See, the tree from Sheltering Tree stamp set (which you can order for 15% off for the next few days!) is in the background! How did she do that you asked! Well, contact me to set up a private class for you & some friends! I'd love to show ya!!!  It's actually relatively simple!!

So now go hop around!!! Hope you get some "fallspiration"!! And don't forget to head over to the online catalog & order your stamp sets for 15% off-but only until Oct. 23!!!!!

Happy Stampin'!!!

PLUNGING INTO THE "FAIR"

This week over at
we are celebrating one of the great traditions of fall-the country fair! Here in New England it's a big thing! Lots of leaves, apples, scarecrows, hay bales, corn stalks, and more!

Here's my country card:

This was kind of fun to  make! It's supposed to be more of a fall scene-one you might see on the way to the fair or at the fair!

The stamp set used is Sprinkles of Life-with A Dozen Thoughts for the sentiment!  I used the stamp set as well as the coordinating Tree Builder punch to cut out the apples, basket & cloud! The fence is simply strips of card stock stamped with the Hardwood background stamp & embossed with the Woodgrain embossing folder!

The cool thing here is the background paper is froms the Season of Cheer DSP pack! I love when I can use holiday type items on non-holiday spots!!!! It works perfectly for a "sky" effect!

The apples are blinged up a bit with some Crystal Effects, and the little clothespin comes from a past My Paper Pumpkin kit. The beautiful ribbon is from the Holiday Catalog!!!!

So hope this week's entry brought you to the fair!!! Now go over to
The Paper Plunge & see who else you meet at the fair!

Happy Stampin'!

ICS BLOG HOP FALL FOR ALL

Here we are in October! Another
Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop
is among us!!!  Wow is this year flying!!! Our creations already reflect the fall!!!  As lovely as it can be here in New England, I miss my flip-flops!!! lol

So here's my Fall card:

A little non-traditional in the color scheme! But I wanted to feature this beautiful DSP Pack called Winter Wonderland Specialty paper!  And I thought the pine cones brought it into the fall thing!

I kept if fairly monochromatic so the paper would "pop". The gold & black are just lovely together. Plus, this DSP has a nice "sheen" to it!

The sentiment is from the versatile Among the Branches set. I have used it a ton this season so far, & plan to keep it going. It's a perfect all-fall-occasion set!

I am having a blast with my Spider Web Doilies! I've used them for so many things! This time I thought they brought out some interest on the card.  After all, these are not just Halloween based!

There is some of our wonderful Gold Cording Trim hanging in there. And a bit of Gold Dazzling Details to bling it up because I'm that kinda girl! Simple yet effective!

So I truly hope you enjoy! Now keep hopping over to Megan's blog! Just click on the image below or on her name! Then keep going until you get back to where you started!  It's always nice to leave a comment! Until next month...

Happy Stamping'!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

Hello hoppers! Welcome to our little
Coloring Down the Lines
blog hop!!!!

You may be hopping here from Helen's blog! Be sure to continue to
Lizzy's blog-then keep going until you get back to where you started! Lots of fun here!

Here's my card this week:

Here's the inspiration photo:

Here are the Stampin' Up! colors:
I thought these colors let to a sort of masculine card. Always looking for one of those! Plus, it's "fall-ish".  So I pulled out my The Wilderness Awaits Stamp set & created! I love these rustic, outdoors-ey kind of stamp sets! We live in the country so it works!

The leaf in the corner is from the infamous Lovely as a Tree!  And oh how I love this Woodland embossing folder from the Holiday Catalog! I sure hope that one carries over! I know it's become quite popular!!!

Now go hop around & see what everyone else has done with these great colors!!!! See you again soon!

Happy Stampin'!!!
