COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

Well I can't believe we are in our final week of November & ready for Thanksgiving tomorrow!!! It's also our final
Coloring Down the Lines Blog Hop
of the month!!! Where did this year go?!

You may have hopped over from Helen's blog! I'm so glad you're here! If this is your first stop, be sure to keep going!!! You will visit Liz's blog next! Be sure to leave a comment at the blogs! We do love to hear from you what you think!

So this week I actually used the Inspiration Photo as the inspiration for the card!!!

Here's my card:

Here is the Inspiration Photo:

And here are the Stampin' Up! colors:

Sahara Sand
Crumb Cake
Old Olive
Mossy Meadow
Basic Black
Chocolate Chip

I totally love how this card came out!!! If you follow this blog, you know I am a big fan of the "rustic" look! I loved the flowers on the Inspiration Photo! So I decided to somewhat make my card look like that photo! It's my take on it, but I still love the way it turned out!!!

The stamp set used are Kinda Ecclectic & Flower PatchStarburst Sayings was used for the little sentiment.  The cut out flowers were cut using the Flower Fair Framelits!

Add in a little Dazzling Details & some of that great Old Olive thick Bakers Twine & it makes a great card! Has a "winter" feel even tho it's flowers!

So I  hope you enjoyed & are inspired to make your own card today! If you need any of the supplies seen here, you can easily find them HERE!!!

So go hop on! Enjoy what the talented ladies on this blog hop have created to share with you!

Oh, and Happy & Safe Thanksgiving to you & yours! May you remember & celebrate all your blessings with family, friends & love!

Happy Stampin'!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!!

This is a great Coloring Down the Lines Blog Hop week!!! It's beautiful colors, AND I got to play with a new tool!!!

Hello hoppers from Helen's blog!!! Luv what she did with these great colors! I like them alot!!!

So here is the inspiration for this week:

And here are the Stampin' Up! colors:

Now my creation:

Yup, it's a bit different this week! See, my good friend Amanda from
Our Crafty Playdate (keep hoppin'-you'll see her design!!) hooked me up with a great deal on the Bind It All! I've wanted one of these forever! They aren't cheap, but I got a great deal!! Now I know that's not Stampin' Up!, but it's a great tool to use with all my
Stampin' Up! products!!! I love to make books, and now I can bind them very easily!! It's highly recommended!  So no card this week-a cute little book instead!

Here are a couple of other views:

The back of the book!
I used my Kinda Ecclectic stamp set! It's quickly becoming one of my favorites!!! I just love that starburst in it! And the leaves are so perfect!!! I think it worked well with these colors! I kept the sentiment design simple
(Chalk Talk of course!) because the leaves were kind of busy! I'm not one to use tons of stuff! If you follow, I'm fairly CAS (clean and simple!) I like a clean look!

The inside pages!
I thought the butterflies added a cute "tab" effect to the pages. A little different. It can be used as a journal, diary, date book, address book, note book, whatever. They can divide the sections.

I realized that the o-wire I used was a bit small for the amount of pages. Next time for this size book I'll use a larger wire for easier turning, but it still works fine. Looks nice I think.  I'll be using my new Bind It All quite a bit I think. Plus, it's pink!!!

So keep hoppin' on over to Liz's blog then keep going! These are some very pretty colors, and I know you will love all the great creations!!!

Until next time!

Happy Stampin'!!!
