COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

Hello all! Welcome to
Coloring Down the Lines
Small group this week! It's a trip from Robbie's blog to here. Then from here to Sandy's blog! Then back to Robbie's! Everyone's busy this week! Plus, the weather sure has been a challenge!!!!

So here's my card:

So Robbie was kind of going with a "spring showers" theme this week. But here a my house, it was spring snowstorm! Cold & windy & snowy! What lousy weather! No spring anywhere in sight. I had a hard time trying to think of something springy. So I think this has a spring theme, but the colors are very muted! Reflects the way I'm feeling! Ugh!

I revisited an old stamp set friend Choose Happiness. I'm trying to! lol  I admit, after the picture, I did go back & add a small strip of Melon Mambo to the left side of the card. It popped it a bit more. I didn't have time to photograph it tho.

I used the Floral Framelits to cut out the flower & random stamped on it. The Sahara Sand 7/8" Lace Trim added some life to the colors.  And of course if you know me, you know I'm adding some sort of bling! These are from the Metallic Sequin Assortment.

So sort of plain, but goes with the mood! Praying for some spring to arrive soon-very soon!!!!

Happy Stampin'!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES

Hello!  Spring is in the air on our
Coloring Down the Lines Blog Hop!!!
Although I did wake up to 6" of snow yesterday! Grrrrr! The warm air is coming, the days are longer, the crocus patch is blooming! It really is coming!!!

If you're on the hop, you probably traveled here from Helen's blog! So nice to have her back!!!!  After here, hop over to Lizzy's blog!!! The ladies are back!!!!!

Here's this week's card:

I think this card came out so fun! I love the Cherry on Top DSP as the background! And the Sahara Sand lace really pops here! That butterfly punched with the Butterfly Punch really shouts SPRING!!!  lol!  I thought it was kind of cute to put the sentiment on him! Kinda works!

I am posting remotely today so I don't have all the details handy on stamp sets, etc. I know the flowers are from the amazing Sale-a-Bration Catalog!!!

If you want details, please just contact me! I'll gladly share with you!

Be sure to keep hopping! The ladies are on fire this week!!!!

Happy Stampin!
