STAMPIN' CLUB!

So ever wanted to opportunity to just get together & stamp? Why not join a club! We do fun things like this:

 Photo: Club fun Friday night!!!!

This is an adorable 2-card set in a little holder!  This is for my wonderful
hostess club! They each commit to purchase a specific dollar amount each month for their own stash! Each one hosts a month & they get the hostess benefits!!!

Other clubs commit to coming to a "class" each month & pay for the class. It always includes product they get to take home!
You can just make some fun cards or whatever project is for that month, or you may learn a new technique!  Either way it's lots of fun!!!

Maybe you & a group of your friends would like a private class! I'd love to do one for you & teach you a new technique or just plan a fun project for you!  Just let me know what you'd like!!

I look forward to sharing with you some of the new goodies in our AMAZING new ANNUAL CATALOG!!! Every year it gets better & better!!!!

Happy Stampin'!!!

COLORING COASTAL WITH MOJO!

Welcome to another Coloring Down the Lines challenge!! If you are hopping over from Helen's blog I know I have a tough act to follow!!! Glad you're here!

So this week's color choices were coastal cabana, calypso coral, smoky slate
or
coastal cabana, pumpkin pie, & crushed curry.  Now I love this new Coastal Cabana color. Just a bit darker than Pool Party, which is an all-time fave of mine!

I chose the latter because it seemed more summery. Altho either one would work!

I'm doubling up on challenges this week again! I've decided to use this week's Mojo Monday 299 sketch as my design base. I'll explain why later!

So first, the card!

And here's the sketch!

I combined the 2 shapes into one-put the circle shape on the square shape! So this is the reason I decided to double up on challenges. I've been dying to just play around with my new Magnetic Platform for my Big Shot! I also got the new Circle Collection & Square Collection Framelits from the new catalog! I needed an excuse to break them out as I've been working so hard on all  my convention swaps! I thought this design worked great for those framelits! Thus, this card!

I used my trusty Betsy's Blossoms stamp set for the flowers, and I used the Best of Greetings Anniversary set for the greeting. That is rapidly becoming my go-to stamp set!!! So versatile!!

I happened to have some 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon in Pumpkin Pie, so I thought that would look cool!

Look at how the Bojo Blossoms punch helped make this flower "bouquet"!

It was my very first use of my Brights Candy Dots! Love those little guys!!

So all in all, it was supposed to be a summery card! I think the colors worked!

But check out the Magnetic Platform!!!

So it's standing on its side here! The first pic is just the platform. The second has 2 of the Circle Collection Framelits "stuck" to it! That magnet is powerful!!!!! It works sooooo well!!! I highly recommend it!  If you're a Framelits junkie, and who isn't-ya just gotta have one!!! You can find it HERE!! Well worth the price!

Now go on hoppin' over to Liz's blog & see what she did with this week's colors! Always a beautiful creation awaits you when you arrive there!!! Tell her I'll be right over!!!

Until next time!
Happy Stampin'!!

COLORING "CANTALOPE" STYLE-WITH A LITTLE MOJO!!!

So welcome to this week's Coloring Down the Lines Blog Hop!!! If you're over here visiting or "hopping" from Helen's blog, great to have you!!!! I know her design is so bright & fun!!

This week, we are once again using the new In-Colors for our challenge! These colors are so fresh & exciting!!! Our choices this week were
crisp cantaloupe, coastal cabana, pistachio pudding,
or
crisp cantaloupe, pink pirouette, & soft suede
I chose the first because I want to work with all my new colors for awhile!
Also, they make me think of summer! Our weather in New England is soooo far from summer this year it's not even funny!!! We have had nothing but cold & rain for 2 months now. It's hard to believe that official summer is only a few days away! Geesh, I really need some summer!!!

This week I am doubling up on challenges! I'm using the design from the
Mojo Monday 298 challenge this week! I haven't played that challenge for a bit, and I like to! So that is my design inspiration!  Here's the sketch:

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgev9IbXJjTB4DmMd7xtkG5MKXvO2MMwxfkMDNFt_FIJqADd9c9a3zEHoAdOnodSycjTuAJAGwdHJZGW6-GoKDIKQtRvVkD3Cqc5sygzJ64ivRoCOBidkQaaLJ3cgGagHkJ_lLAj8tlPPYS/s1600/Mojo298Sketch.gif

Colors first though!

Anyway, these colors are helping me "think summer"!!! Does it work for you?

I used 2 of my new stamp sets for the first time! The pretty flowery lacy thing is from Happy Day! The sentiment is from the Best of 25 Years Birthday stamp set for June-Best of Greetings. Such a versatile set that one is!!! A Round Array rounds out the stamp sets! Punched out of course with the coordinating 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch!

The background is embossed with the Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder!
Now the bow-that seems to be a big design these days-using cardstock/DSP to mke the bows. I embossed it first with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder. It's kinda cute I think!  Believe it or not I made it with the
Medium Oval Punch! Hmmm, think you can figure it out?? :)

So now that you're hopefully feeling summery, take your little drink in a coconut with an umbrella over to Liz's blog! I'll see you there to enjoy the tropics!

Then I have to get to work on all my swaps for convention! It's coming up in just 1 month! So excited!!!! I know I promised to share some new stuff from the new catty! I'm working on it!

I also LOVE this month's new Paper Pumpkin! I can't wait to make those cards so I can show you! Hopefully tomorrow!!

Happy Stampin'!!!

A COLORING DOWN THE LINES "SLUSHIE"!!

So this week we are beginning our blog hop with our new In-Colors!!! They are such nice tones!
Our challenge this week is using Strawberry Slush with Rich Razzleberry & Sahara Sand OR with Coastal Cabana & Crisp Cantaloupe
I definitely chose the latter because I wanted to use all my new In-Colors!!!

So welcome back from Helen's "slushie" blog!!! I know her creation is super "juicy" and "cool"!! Ok, enough with the puns!!! I'm sure you loved her creation!! :)

So here's mine!!!

I pulled out my new Mosaic Madness tools!! The Mosaic Madness stamp set, Mosaic Punch & the Mosaic Embossing Folder!! I am really enjoying this combo!!!
I love the way the "mosaics" look with the embossing folder! Especially when Stampin' Dimensionals are used to "puff" them up! Cool!!!

This is a tri-fold card, but a little different than the standard gatefold! See?

I have the design panel attached on the left side, but the right side needs to be "over" the left base side! Clear as mud?? I'd be happy to share if you'd like, but it makes a nice gatefold-style stay closed instead of kind of flopping open. Just as easy to make though!!!

Here's a close up of the panel!!!

You can see the dimension & texture with the folder & "mosaics". You can also see the Basic Pearl Jewels accents.

Oh, btw, the little sentiment is from the Pennant Parade stamp set!

Overall, it's a fairly simple card, but I think it looks nice & showcases the new In-Colors well!

Now pop on over to Laura's blog & check out her La-Dee-Dah lovely creation!!!! I'll see you there!!

Watch over the next few days for some of our exciting new products!!! I can't wait for the man in brown to deliver my BIG box of goodies from the new catalog!!! Wait until you see!!! I sure can't!!!!

Happy Stampin'!!!

THROW-BACK FRIDAY!!

Tis the season for graduations!! I don't typically have a lot of graduation sets. But I needed a card so went digging!

Remember this one??

I found this one in my retired stash!! Some of the more specific stamp sets I save forever! No ditching these!!  This was a old Spring Catalog set I believe from about 4 years ago! I remember I got it because I loved the little owl!!! Not that I had any graduations that year!!! lol

I think these feet are very clever!!!

I used some retiring paper also! The school colors are maroon & gold, so the paper I used was Bravo Burgundy & More Mustard! You could stay current & use Crushed Curry & Cherry Cobbler though. I just wanted to use up some old stuff!  I simply colored in the gowns with the marching markers!!!

Here's the little guy that sold the set!

Not only cute, but smart!!!

So just wanted to share a cute graduation card! You never know when you may need some inspiration!!

As with any of my designs, if you want the recipe or details, feel free to contact me!!

Happy Stampin!!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!

So last weekend I went directly from a wedding to a 50th anniversary party! Talk about extremes!! Both were quite beautiful, but of course each had its own flair!!!

Here is the card I made for the anniversary party!

I'm not quite sure why the color is kinda funny on this one!! Being as it's a 50th, that background is gold!! I didn't want anyone to think I was being morbid with the black, but it looked so rich with the gold!!! Love my gold paper!!!!

I used the Best of Brides & Babies 25th Birthday stamp set! I think this one will get lots of use!!! It's the best wedding stamp!!! I just think these 2 little birds are so cute!!!

I cut them all out with the Apothecary Accents Framelits Dies! Just plain & simple, but very elegant!

Finished the little guys off with 2 of the Large Pearls Jewel Accents & some Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details in the Heart!

Happy Anniversary Rachel & Bob!!!!

Happy Stampin'!!!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES WITH BASIC GRAY/SUO WEDDING

Welcome on over from Helen's blog! I know you enjoyed her design! So colorful this week!
We are working down our challenge to the new catalog colors!! This week includes colors that were/are current!!! Gotta love gray! It's the new black so they say! lol  I'm also piggy-backing the SUO challenge this week!!!
So this week's challenge is Basic Gray, Melon Mambo, Old Olive OR Basic Gray, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie
I really like how the first group make me think summer! Well Melon Mambo always makes me think summer!!!
I actually did 2 different cards for this week! I had one done, but then I needed a wedding card so decided to go non-traditional with that! Scroll down for that SUO Wedding Card challenge!!!

So here's the first this week's card:

I had some fun with my Secret Garden stamp set and Framelits!!! I had some Melon Mambo Embossing Powder so had to use that too!
I used the "stamping off" technique to stamp on the Whisper White. I didn't want the flowers to be too gray! I think it gives a kind of soft affect! It's just  pretty all-occasion card!

No matter what setting I took this photo on the gray looks somewhat purple!!! It totally isn't in real life!!! Interesting!

I can't wait to get my new Magnetic Platform! It's on its way!!! It should make placement for all my Framelits so much easier!!
Here's a really cool video that shows how to use it:

Now, here's the 2nd this week's card:

I made a 5 1/2" square card because I wasn't mailing it! I used the May Birthday stamp set-it's all babies, weddings & anniversaries! A very versatile set!!!
These colors actually make a pretty wedding card!!!
Here's a couple of close ups-first of the image, then second of the Clay Button I made with my new molds & clay!!! First one I've used on a card!!

So hope you like all the fun colors this week!!!

Head on back to our fearless leader Robbie's blog & have a great time enjoying her beautiful design!!!

Happy Stampin'!!!
