ICS BLOG HOP-MERRY CHRISTMAS THINLETS

This month on the Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop, we are featuring Christmas cards galore!!! Tis the season!!! With so many lovely choices in both our Annual Catalog & the Holiday Catalog there's plenty of great items to make something really pretty for your holiday greetings!!! Wait til you see the amazingness here!!!

Here's my card:

I wanted to feature one of my favorite items in the Holiday Catalog-the
Merry Christmas Thinlets!!! Talk about a quick, easy yet beautiful card!!! The stamp set Merry Christmas to All coordinates just perfectly!

I thought the Petal Burst Embossing Folder-while not Christmas at all- makes a kind of cool background here! Yet another example of the versatility of our tools!!!

The cute little pinecones were made with the Pretty Pines Thinlets! I thought they went great with the beautiful new Under the Mistletoe DSP!!!!!  Right?!!!! That's basically where the inspiration from the card came from! Sometimes I just look at a beautiful piece of DSP, decide to feature that, then decide what I can use to enhance it!!!

I finished it off with some Linen Thread & a bit of bling with our
Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels!

So now hop over to Deb's blog for some more beautiful Christmas inspiration!!!! Then keep right on going until you get back to where you started!!! Simply click her name here or the icon below!!!

There's still plenty of time to get your Christmas card materials from the Holiday Catalog!! Simply click HERE & you'll find everything you're looking for!!!!

Since we won't see you again as a hop until the New Year, a very
Merry Christmas & Happy Hanukkah
to you all!!!! Best of wishes for a wonderful, creative 2019!!!!!

ICS-CROSS-STITCHED CHRISTMAS

This month on Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop we are starting our       Holiday crafting with a 3-D item! Lots of fun ideas for the holidays!!!   We are a week early this month as many of us will be traveling to Orlando next week for our OnStage event!!! So much fun ahead!!!

So let me start by saying 3-D items are a real challenge for me! If you follow this blog, you know I'm a real CAS (Clean & Simple) kinda gal! My cards are very linear & simple. I do not usually work with 3-D items! In fact I rarely make them!  I love to look at them & see the great ideas others have, but I'm not great at coming up with something new! But the holidays are all about bling & fun, so I decided to give it a try! My creation is rather CAS, but I think its cute! What dya think?

Here it is:

So I thought what's more 3-D for the holidays than Christmas ornaments? Most people have a tree, so we need the ornaments to hang from them! These came out cute, but they are very simple!!!

My fave stamp set from the Holiday Catalog is the Cross-Stitched Christmas set! I love the multi-step stamping, & I think it's a pretty, crisp stamp set!

These 3 little ornaments sparkle! I used my amazing Stamparatus to stamp the base layer in a color, the second layer with Versamark &                     White Embossing Powder, and the 3rd layer with Versamark &
Silver Embossing Powder!  I chose these colors because I feel they are "cool" colors-for winter!!!

I am not one for fussy cutting, but I thought the Stitched Oval Framelit made the ornament look like it was in a hoop.   Which is where you would work the cross-stitch! I backed them all with a nice Silver Glimmer Paper.  Just thought they needed some "bling" on the backside!

I fortunately had matching colors in the twine-Night of Navy Medium Bakers Twine, & 2 colors from Nature's Twine!  Add a bit of Glitter Enamel Dots & Basic Jewels Rhinestone bling & it's kinda sweet!!!

So nothing fancy but easy to make & fun to hang on your tree! Great to do with your kids!!!!

Now hop over to Terri's blog & see what she came up with!!! Just click on her name or the icon below & you'll get there! Then keep going!! Follow through this great hop of ideas to get you into the Holiday spirit & ready for crafting!!!

ICS BLOG HOP-MANY BLESSINGS

This month on the Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop we are celebrating
Fall for All!!! Beautiful fall creations featuring products from our amazing new Holiday Catalog will be featured!!!!
Now everyone knows I'm a summer girl, but fall is second best! Here in
New England we have the most vibrant colors! Lots of apple picking, pumpkins & corn stalks, hay bales & lots more happen around here! Although this year we've had so much rain it's hard to see any colors at all! So looking forward to this blog hop to make my colors shine!!!

Here's my fall creation this month:

This was a fun, clean-and-fairly simple card to make. That's my style!!! This is the Many Blessings stamp set! It was inspired by one of Stampin' Up's Million Sales Achievers-Ruth Snyder! I really like it because it works for anything from early fall right through Christmas! A super versatile, fun stamp set!

And it's perfect to use with our amazing Stampin' Blends! Ok I love to color. Don't judge! lol This like "grown up" coloring! And I love how these colors really made me think fall!

I used the Layered Leaves Dynamic Embossing Folder. Now usually I spritz the card stock a bit with water before I emboss with these folders, but this time I wanted a softer finish-so no water! Still pretty but a nice light finish!

I love this kind of peek-a-boo style card!!! It just adds a little something extra to a pretty greeting card.   Easy to do with all the Layering Circle Framelits & Circle Punches we have! I used a combo here! And the photopolymer stamps are "flexible" so i was able to fit that wreath-like stamp on the round strip!

Finished it all off with the Braided Linen Trim! I am very happy with this one! Love my Stampin' Blends!

Now hop on over to Megan's blog & see what she is featuring for Fall for All!!!  Then keep going & check out everyone else's! Just click on her name or the icon below! Happy fall y'all!!!

ICS BLOG HOP-BALLOON BOUQUET PUNCH

This month on our Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop we are featuring our "Passion for Punches"!!! These tools are such an amazing, quick, & easy accessory to your stampin' fun!!! And Stampin' Up! has so many awesome coordinating punches & stamp sets!!

Here's my card this month:

This is a fun & easy birthday card! I needed one last minute so had
to whip it up! Now I've used this Balloon Bouquet Punch
Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set combo I can't tell you how many times! What a sweet easy birthday card they make together!

But wait, can you find the second punch on this card? Yup! The
Classic Label Punch! There is an image for that too in the stamp set! Now don't get me wrong-I am a Framelits freak!!! But these punches make everything quick & easy!!!

And what about that background!!! That is a brandy new stamp from the Holiday Catalog (available soon!) called the Buffalo Check! It fits a full card front & stamps so sweet!!! I KNOW this is gonna be one of my "go-to's"!!

Other items used include the Night of Navy Medium Bakers Twine & the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls! The colors used are from the new
In-Colors!!!

So go hop over to Karie's blog & see what punches she's using! Then keep going! Then go grab your own punches & use the inspiration to create a cute card!!! Need some punches?

BEAUTIFUL BOUQUET-SYMPATHY CARDS

I have needed way too many sympathy cards lately! I decided to make a few different ones to have on hand!

These are all made with the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set!

Here's the first:

This one I used the Bouquet Bunch Framelits to cut out the flower details. The beautiful backgrounds the Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing folder!   This one is very simple-I made several!

The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings. The ribbon is the
Grapefruit Grove Grosgrain ribbon.  I did have a couple of extra sequins from an old Paper Pumpkin kit! They matched perfectly!!!

Here are the 2nd & 3rd:

Both cards are made from the same stamp set & framelits! Amazing how 1 stamp set can make such different cards!  These are almost the same, but I used a little different placement with the ribbon. The DSP is from the
Wood Textures 6x6 DSP Pack. It's from the same piece reversed. Which one do you like best? Did you even notice the difference? lol

The ovals are from the Stitched Frame set & the Layering Ovals Framelit pack.

I pulled out the retired Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set for the sentiment. While I love the new one, this one will always be close by for sentiments! They just "fit" anywhere!!!  The rouched ribbon was from the last catalog. Retired but the color is still current. Yes, I do use up my retired materials! lol

So same sentiment, same stamp set, 2 very different styles! I love this bundle! You can get it HERE!!!!

Use the Hostess Code UKXWUT4B  when ordering!!!  And pray I don't need any more sympathy cards too soon! Geesh!

Happy Stampin'!

SEA OF TEXTURES-ONE OF A KIND!

Yes I love this stamp set! I've been playing a lot with it! lol Sea of Textures never fails to amaze!!! I love the way everything comes out!

With this one I was dying to use the cute little octopus!! There is an octopus framelit in the coordinating Under the Sea Framelit pack! Of course it goes with the stamp! The seaweed & such on the bottom are also cut with the framelits! So many to choose from! It's a great deal!!!

So  the DSP is from the Tranquil Textures pack! I've almost used this pack up! I love it! It goes with every stamp set & can be used for every sentiment!!!

The sequins are leftovers from a recent Paper Pumpkin set.  There are always plenty of extras in those kits! Not a subscriber yet? Boy are you missing out!!! Contact me to find out how you can join!!!

Anyway, thats really the only extra used here! Oh, the Baker's Twine on the octopus is white colored with the Tranquil Tide Stampin' Marker! A bit messy but quite an effective way to get the colors you want! I thought the little bow made him "one of a kind" like the sentiment says!!!

Anyway, if you'd like this stamp set/framelit bundle, you can save 10% by ordering HERE!

Be sure to use the Hostess Code UKXWUT4B at checkout!!! Hope you enjoyed!

SEA OF TEXTURES-THINKING OF YOU

So today's stamp set is quickly becoming one of my favorites-Sea of Textures! If you follow me you know I'm from Cape Cod. I am all about anything ocean, sea, nautical, etc! So when one of these stamp sets come out I get all giddy! lol And this one lives up to the hype! You can find everything in this post in our amazing Annual Catalog!

I needed a card for a neighbor who was in the hospital. She's a neighbor from where I grew up-on the Cape! So this stamp set seemed like the natural choice!!

I absolutely LOVE how this came out! The background is from
Tranquil Textures DSP pack. This paper is part of the same suite as
Sea of Textures, but it's super versatile!!!! I thought this one was kind of like bubbles!!! lol

When you use the Under the Sea Framelits with the stamp set it's a win-win combo! I love these sand dollars!

It's finished off with some Crumb Cake Twine from the
Nature's Twine Combo Pack!  The greeting is from the new
Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set! I love having the versatility of those little words!!! So many to choose from!

If you like the Sea of Textures/Under the Sea Framelits combo, you can save 10% on the bundle!! You can order it HERE!!!

Be sure to use the Hostess Code UKXWUT4B at the payment section of the order!!

SITTING HERE-THINKING OF YOU

Just a sweet thinking of you kind of card for a special friend who unexpectedly lost her brother to the horrible cancer disease.  I would rather send her something that doesn't say "sympathy". She's not that kinda gal!

This Sitting Here stamp set has always been an enigma to me. I love it, but was never really comfortable how to use it! She is a cat lover & has one of her own, so I wanted to feature the cat sitting serenely on the bench.  I think I like the white space here. I don't like to leave too much, but I think it works here.

I pulled out a couple of our recently retired colors for this one-Wisteria Wonder & Perfect Plum.  We have some beautiful new purples in our new color collections, but I am slowly building up my supply of new colors. Haven't gotten to the purples yet!

I used the Stampin' Blends to color all the details here. Talk about amazing! I love them! Otherwise, all the images come from the Sitting Here stamp set.

All materials can be ordered HERE! Or you can click the Order button on the Home page of this blog!

Be sure to use the Hostess Code UKXWUT4B when ordering.

LITTLE ELEPHANT FUN!

So life has quieted down a bit & I can finally get back to my crafting!  Oh how I've missed it! I pulled out some of my newbies from the new Annual Catalog! I needed a few cards! lol

Today I'm going to share with you a super fun little stamp set called
Little Elephant!!! Here's the first card! (2nd is further down!)

So this set is really designed for a fun baby card! It has the adorable matching Elephant Builder Punch-which punches out a small and a large elephant & their little ears!

This is a cute baby card for a boy or a girl! I always try to go neutral unless I know-and even then...! lol

The background is from the amazing Tranquil Textures DSP! Wow is that paper beautiful & versatile!  That really cool ribbon is the Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon. That's fun!  I also used some white Baker's Twine, and cut the squares out with the Stitched Framelits!

Now as you probably know, the stamp sets aren't not exclusive to one subject or another! Here I used it as a congratulations card! I'm sending it to a family member who just bought her first home! Not sure what an elephant has to do with a new home but it's super cute! lol

The background here is from the Tropical Escape 6x6 DSP Pack!  Just threw in a little Bakers Twine & some Stampin' Markers to color the balloons & it's an adorable card!!!!

So just a fun share of one of the new stamp set bundles from the
Annual Catalog! Buy both the stamp set & the bundle & you save 10%!  You can find them HERE!!!! Be sure to use the Hostess Code UKXWUT4B when ordering!

IN-COLOR FUN

I've been playing with my In-Colors! It's been rainy so needed some "bright" in my life! So thought I would pull out one of my all-time favorite stamp sets Vertical Greetings and "light up my life"!

Now this embossing is A-MAZ-ING!! It's called the Tufted Dynamic embossing folder! Wow is it cool! Reminds me of the old headboards on the beds with the leather look! Or a chair! lol I didn't add anything to it except the Wink of Stella for the "button" areas. Can ya see it? I wanted the embossing to stand on it's own-and I think it does!

I've combined colors from both sets of In-Colors: Lemon Lime Twist from the 17-19 set & Pineapple Punch and Grapefruit Grove from the 18-20 set! I used Granny Apple Green for the stems & sentiment as I wanted a bit of a "pop".

The ribbon is the Grosgrain in Grapefruit Grove & Pineapple Punch, and the stamp was colored with the Stampin' Markers!

So just a simple, fun card! Hope you enjoyed! All supplies can be ordered HERE!

Placing an order? Be sure to use Hostess Code UKXWUT4B  when checking out!!!

PAPER PUMPKIN POP UP BLOG HOP - PICNIC PARADISE

This month's Paper Pumpkin kit Picnic Paradise is soooooo cute!!! Very timely too-makes great teacher gift for back to school-just saying!!!
It makes a ton of fun items!!!

So here we will give you some ideas on alternative uses for the materials in the kit! There are so many fun materials in this kit!!! I know you'll find some amazing ideas!!!

Here's mine:

So I made a simple little card to go with the gift set!

Whenever I "alter" the  kits for these hops I like to try to stick to using only the materials in the kits, keeping it very CAS (Clean And Simple)! I have some beginners using these kits, & I want them to feel comfortable also!
Clearly we have a ton of other products that you can use, but a lot of people are exclusive with the kits! Plus, those little red boxes are perfect to take on a vacation or business trip for some "quiet" time! I know I always have one with me. I throw in the block & some scissors & maybe a piece or 2 of card stock & I'm ready to craft anywhere! Card making is my "therapy", so after a busy day I love to settle down with a Paper Pumpkin kit!

All I added to this card that's not included in the kit is some                           Soft Suede card stock & one of our Note Cards & Envelopes.

Just for comparison sake, here is what the kit is designed to look like:

There are some adorable little note cards to fit into the cute little basket! The plaid paper is included-as is everything else you see here!!! Ink, adhesive, papers, baker's twine, etc., etc., etc.!!!

So just a simple little card to give with the cute basket of cards as a nice gift!
Next hop over to Sharon's blog & I know you'll see some really amazing alternative uses for the Picnic Paradise Paper Pumpkin kit! Just click on her name or the "Next" icon below!

If you're new to Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin & don't yet have a demonstrator I'd love to be yours!! Why not take advantage of this amazing deal!!!! Contact me for info!!! Or click on the picture to subscribe!!!

ICS BLOG HOP-DRAGONFLY DREAMS

This month on the Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop we have a color challenge!!! We could use only the 3 colors below (with a spattering of black or white!). This was a real challenge for me! These colors are beautiful together, but I wouldn't have chosen them to use together. Plus, I haven't stocked up on embellishments in all the new colors yet!!  I always enjoy a challenge though! And I like this one!!!

Here is the color challenge:

Here is my card:

I am on a kick with this particular "fancy fold" cards lately! I think they add just a little extra fun!! I was randomly going through my stamps & decided to use the Dragonfly Dreams! It's such a pretty stamp set-especially when you can combine it with the Dragonfly Detail Thinlet Dies!!

The embossing on the front is the beautiful Layered Leaves. I thought it would be appropriate that the dragonfly needs leaves to land on! lol  That dragonfly was cut first with the solid Blackberry Bliss, then the detailed over piece was cut from the Vellum Card stock & colored on the back with the                 Stampin' Markers! I just finished it off with some Basic Rhinestone Jewels!  I even added some fun to the inside! I love how the big dragonfly is "peeking" over the top!

This 3-fold card is kind of fun! In fact, you get 2 cards from 1 sheet of card stock! Just like when making regular cards!!  You can use them either portrait or landscape orientation Here is the other one I did.

I kept with the same color scheme.  The little kangaroo from the             Animal Outing stamp set set was colored with the Blackberry Bliss ink pad & the Aqua Painter, but the color didn't carry over like I'd hoped. It's a bit pink! I actually double checked the ink pad to be sure it was the correct color! lol But still a cute card!  Simple cards but cute to give to a friend!

So now hop over to Ginger's blog & enjoy her creation! Click on her name or the icon below!!! Then keep going! Lots to see using these 3 cool colors-all returning In-Colors I might add!!!

Happy Stampin'!

Now this cheery card was created for a co-worker who was moving on to a new job! I will miss her a ton, but she is off to bigger & better things!  I thought it was kind of a different way to say goodbye!!!!

The DSP used is the beautiful Garden Impressions 6x6 DSP Pack!!! Oh the colors here!!!!! The flowers are so bright & beautiful! But I wanted to feature the back of the pages. ICS BLOG HOP-ACCENTED BLOOMS

Welcome to our brand new In-Colors in our Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop!!! Our new Annual Catalog has just launched, and it brings some pretty amazing things! I look forward each year to a new batch of In-Colors, and this year's definitely don't disappoint!!!! So vibrant & brilliant! I can't wait to really explore these new colors along with all the other new goodies in this super, amazing catalog!!!

So here are the new '18-'19 In-Colors:

And here is my card this month:

Now I always love to follow a "clean & simple" line with my cards. I love all the fanciness hat everyone else does, but when I do it, it looks like my craft studio just spewed all over the the card! lol I can't seem to make it work! So I stick to the CAS!

This one I actually went old school with the Stampin' Markers to do the coloring of the flowers! This little stamp set Accented Blooms is so versatile!! You can add any sentiment from any stamp set that fits in the               Tailored Tag Punch!!! It's a nice combo to work with.

I actually cut out the flower image here because I wanted to In-Colors in the background, but it also looks great just stamped on the card base-works great for a 1-layer card!!!

Anyway, I use the amazing Basket Weave embossing folder whenever I can! lol I just love it! Such a fun image!! And the 1/8" In-Color Grosgrain Ribbon works on just about anything! I wish it came in every color not just the
In-Colors!!!!

Hard to tell in the pic but I added a bit of Wink of Stella to give the flowers a bit of "bling"! I'm all about the bling!

So now hop on to Debbi's blog & enjoy her In-Color creation-then keep going for some amazing inspiration!!! Simply click on her name or the icon below!  There are some talented crafters on this hop, so you don't want to miss a single one!!!!

Happy Stampin'!!!!!

PAPER PUMPKIN-YOU ARE MY ANCHOR!

Hello Hoppers! This month on the Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop we are featuring probably my favorite Paper Pumpkin kit yet!!!!!!  You Are My Anchor is right in my wheelhouse!!! It makes an adorable little set of cards as is, but so many options for coolness also! See, I am from Cape Cod! So anything nautical or ocean is my happy place!!! I love this set!!!!

So here's what I did:

This is a card to give with one of these amazing little gift sets that is made with the kit:

I tried to use mostly pieces from the kit to showcase how you really don't need a ton of other stuff to make these kits so versatile! Here I just used a piece of Calypso Coral cardstock for the card base!!! That's pretty much it! Oh and a small piece of Island Indigo to make the lighthouse "pop"!!!  Super simple, but makes a great card to give with the little card set!!!!

I even decorated the inside:

Hope you enjoyed & are getting some alternative ideas to your April Paper Pumpkin kit!!!! I can't say enough how much I love this kit!!!  So now hop over to Tricia's blog & see how she altered the materials to make something awesome!!! Then keep going!!!! Just click on her name or the little pumpkin below!!!

Happy Stampin'!!!!

ICS BLOG HOP-EASTER LILIES

Happy spring! Well-almost! Here on the Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop we are going "springy" this month-Hopping into spring! I...
