So here's my card:

I am trying my very first Facebook Live card class in a week or so, and I have been working on some pretty but simple cards that can be done in a short time! The class features the Season Like Christmas stamp set, so I thought this would be perfect for this hop! I really like this stamp set! I can see lots of uses for it even after Christmas!!!

The beautiful DSP is Be Merry!  This very simple yet effective card also features the beautiful 1/8" Gold Glimmer Ribbon & a cute star cut from the
Gold Glimmer Paper.  The focus of this class is the 2-step stamping so I didn't want to muddy the waters with too many details!

So now hop on over to Megan's blog! You can get there by clicking on her name or on the icon below.  And then keep going to get some great ideas!

I am also happy to welcome my good friend Jenilee Pauls to our blog hop! She's sure to add a nice touch!!!

Happy stampin'!!!

ICS BLOG HOP-HALF FULL!

Hello Hello!! Welcome to our
Fall Fun Inspire Create Share Blog Hop!!!
So fall is full of pumpkins & scarecrows & corn & stuff!!! Well my fall card is a bit non-traditional! I'll explain!!!
While others are on hayrides, we are out on the wine trail! Fall is the time when my hubby, myself, & a group of our friends enjoy going to the local wineries for tastings! Many of them are outdoors, so we can enjoy the beautiful weather & scenery!!! Fall in New England is like no other!!! And this fall we've been lucky enough to be able to drop the top on the convertible!!! It's a time for fun & friends!

So here's MY fall card:

This fun stamp set Half Full worked perfectly for MY fall experiences!!!  I love how the beautiful colors in the Naturally Eclectic DSP bring i the colors of both wine and fall!  I thought the Leaf Punch added just a cute touch!

I really have enjoyed using my new Stampin' Blends-AVAILABLE NOW!!!! These are so amazing!!!  They were only used here a bit for the grapes, but I have been "blending" all over the place!!! lol  Watch for future posts! And definitely let me know if you'd like some of your own! You won't be sorry!!!

So I finished the details off with some Linen Thread & some
Finely Woven Ribbon.  Stampin' Dimensionals were also used.

Now for some more fall inspiration please hop ahead to Deb's blog to see her offering!!! You can get there by clicking on her name or on the icon below!!!  When you've finished there, please keep going! There will be so many beautiful creations on this hop!!!!
PS-we love comments!!!!!

Happy Stampin'!!!

ICS-COLORS OF COURAGE-SO MANY SHELLS

This month on our
Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop
we are sharing cards that help with inspiration for those suffering from cancer. It is Breast Cancer Awareness month, but I decided to go with a different color this time!

Here's my card of inspiration:

I think this So Many Shells stamp set is such a perfect inspirational set! And since miracles need to happen with cancer, I found this to be the perfect sentiment! Try as I may I can't get the gold to show up! It's very vibrant in person tho! Trust me! lol

Using Fresh Fig & Powder Pink, 2 of the new 17-19 In-Colors, and the coordinating Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper, I thought it was a pretty beginning!

The Metallic Foil Doily is a perfect background for the Gold heat embossed shell. The ocean is my calming place. So this shell represents serenity for me.

I just punched out the circles with my Circle Punches and added in some  Fresh Fig Woven Ribbon, & I think it's a pretty card.  Hope it inspires you too!  All the items in this card can be found in the Annual Catalog!

Now hop over to Janey's blog & enjoy her inspiration! You can either click her name or the icon below! Either way will get you hopping through this amazing blog hop!!!!

Thanks for joining us today and Happy Stampin'!!!

ICS BLOG HOP-PAINTED HARVEST

Welcome to the September edition of the Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop!  It's good to be back!!! After a rather challenging, way-too-short summer I'm ready to get back at it!! I haven't created nearly enough this summer!!! Great to now have this amazing new Holiday Catalog to kick me in the butt to get going!!

Here's my card this month:

So I just had to use this stamp set-Painted Harvest!! It is A-MAZE-ING!!!!! It's one of the prettiest ones I think SU has ever come up with!!! It's really supposed to be a sunflower but I used it as a wreath instead! I actually have one just like this on my door in the fall! I just love these 2-step stamps!

The entire Suite of products is just great!!! This is the
Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper! And the Jute Twine is the perfect accent for this rustic card! The Burlap Ribbon is a great accent to separate the 2 patterns. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes!

The circles are cut with the amazing Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies! Love these! They add just a little extra something to the shape! So versatile!!!

I hope you enjoyed my fall card! Now keep hopping over to Karie's blog & check out her card! Then continue to hop around until you get back here!!! You can get there by either clicking on her name or the icon below!!

Happy Stampin'!

ICS BLOG HOP INTRODUCING THE 2017-2019 IN-COLORS

Happy July! This month on our Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop we are featuring our amazing new In-Colors!!! So many possibilities!!!  They can all be found in the new Annual Catalog! So much goodness there! Be sure to hop along to see all the great ideas with these amazing colors!!!!

So here's my card:

I had a very difficult time getting the actual colors to work here! I photographed it several times, but the color of the octopus doesn't show up!!! Grrr! Well here they are anyway!!!

So I actually used all 5 of the colors here! The base of the matte is Berry Burst. The Tranquil Tide & Lemon Lime Twist are embossed with the Seaside Embossing Folder. Thought it went with the theme of this stamp set-Message in a Bottle!

The little octopus & the sentiment are stamped using Fresh Fig ink on    Powder Pink cardstock, but it looks black. Possibly because I placed a clear Window Sheet over the bottle to look like glass! It really does in person-honest! lol It's cut out using the Big Shot & the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  Duel Banners Punch takes care of the sentiment!

Just a bit of linen thread adds that "nautical" rope look to complete the card.

Next is Cheryl's blog! You can get there by clicking her name or the icon below!!! We love comments! Let us know what ya like!!!!

Happy Stampin'!!!!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES

So this week on the
Coloring Down the Lines Blog Hop
we are thinking "summer"! Thank goodness because here in New England it seems as tho the only we we are ever gonna see summer is to "think it"!!! Cold, rainy, raw. Blah!

Before me this week is Amanda!!!! After me is Lizzy! Be sure to visit their blogs! And don't forget to hop over to Robbie's too!

So here's my card:

And Robbie's inspiration photo:

This is totally what summer is to me! Ocean! Beach!  This fun little stamp set
A Day at the Beach is from the Occasions Catalog-soon to be gone! This one is one that will live in my stash forever! I love anything beach! And the sun, flip flops & sunglasses seem to tell that story! Hard to see but there's a bit of bling on the side of the sunglasses-of course!! lol

The Seaside embossing folder is the perfect "beach/wave" folder! The pics were colored with the Watercolor Pencils & Blender Pen. Soft & easy-for summer!  The sentiment is from the brand new Colorful Seasons in the brand new
Annual Catalog-SOON TO BE LIVE!! Can't wait!!!!  Lots of fun to play with there!!!

So I hope i gave u a touch of summer. I so need it! Pray we get some here in New England so I don't grow moss on my frigid body! lol

Happy Stampin'!!!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES

Hey there! This week on
Coloring Down the Lines Blog Hop
we are creating shape cards!!! Haven't done this in awhile so kinda excited to share! This week's card combines the old with the new!

So today you're hopping FROM Robbie to me, the after me TO Lizzy!  Small group this week! But amazing nonetheless!

So here's my card:

Here is Robbie's inspiration photo:

So I have to admit, I couldn't wait to use some of my new goodies from the brandy new Annual Catalog!!!! It goes live so soon!!! But these In-Colors-yowza!!!!!!

So my shape is round-obviously!!! lol I pulled out some of my old retired    Circle Framelits for this one. I love the big scallop-edge circle for a shape card! Gotta admit-not the first time I've done this! lol

Now, the colors!!!! Yes, 2 of the new In-Colors-Berry Burst &              Lemon-Lime Twist! So pretty!!!!!  The DSP peeking out is from the new   Color Theory Series Paper Stack! Perfect for the generic cards!

What is that flower you ask? Well let me tell you! It's from the Daisy Delight stamp set punched out with the coordinating Daisy Punch!  Awesome right?? The sentiment is from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set!!! New & fun!!!!!

So hope you enjoyed this simple little card! I kept it simple so you could actually get a good look at the stamp sets! So glad I finally got to play with my new goodies!!! Can't wait to play some more!!!

Happy Stampin'!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES

This week on the
Coloring Down the Lines Blog Hop
we are saying goodbye to our favorite embossing folders that will be retiring the end of the month! So sad to see any of them go!!

But first, check out all our blogs! Helen's blog is before mine & Lizzy's is after me!!! Then keep hopping! Lots of ideas! The folders may be retiring, but they still work just fine!!! So while the new catalog leaves them out, I know I won't!!!

Here's my card:

Here's the inspiration photo:

So this is a very simple card to highlight the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. I so can't believe they are retiring it!!! It's a pretty popular  folder! Oh well. I know they'll come up with something equally as lovely!!!! But it's still one of my faves!

I also used the retiring 15-17 In-Colors. I so love this Cucumber Crush! I thought the green worked well with the little frog!

Which brings me to the retiring Hostess stamp set Luv ya Lots!  This little frog is so cute, as are the other little critters in the set. The elephant-luv!!!!!!

It is finished off with the Metallic Ribbon Combo (from the Holiday Catalog) and the Oval Layering Framelits-NOT retiring!! Cute, simple little card!!!

I just got my pre-order from the new Annual Catalog!!! Whoa!!! So cool!!!!!! I can't wait to share the new In-Colors with you!!! Super pretty!!!!!! The DSP is the best yet, and the stamp sets are so nice!!!! I also have catalogs!!! If you would like one, please let me know!!! They are here for you!!!

ICS BLOG HOP-IT'S A GIRL THING!

This month on the
Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop
we are featuring things that are "girlie"!!! And what is more girlie than PINK!!! lol

Here's my card:

I really wanted to feature some of my fave items from the '16-'17 Annual Catalog & '17 Occasions Catalog!!! So much is retiring! I will miss both of these stamp sets so much!!!!

So I used the Melon Mambo color scheme for the whole girlie thing!!! lol  The DSP is the Pop of Pink Specialty DSP from the Annual Catalog!  I just tried to really "girlie" it up with some beautiful falsies on the hot little flamingo-eyelashes that is!!!!

The stamp sets are the Pop of Paradise from the Annual and Hey Chick from the Occasions!  Both of them have been used extensively by me! I will honestly miss them both! Altho there are some newbies that I'm sure will fill in the void!!! lol

Other items used are the Whisper White Organza Ribbon, Melon Mambo Thick Bakers Twine, Wink of Stella, Diamond Basic Jewels
Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker.

Now to see some more girlie cards please hop on to Deb's Flying Stamper!!! You can either click her name or the icon below! Then be sure to keep going right through the hop! Lots of great stuff to see!!! We love comments so feel free to leave one!!!!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES

This week on
Coloring Down the Lines Blog Hop
we are once again visiting our retiring products. We are always so sad to see some favorites go, but happy to welcome in some newbies!

So before me is Helen's blog. And after me is Lizzy's blog.  Be sure to check to see what they will be missing!!!

So here's my card:

And Robbie's inspiration photo:
So this is probably the hardest stamp set for me to let go-Pineapple. For a lot of reasons, this is close to my heart! I have used it throughout the year for so many different projects.  It's not a fancy stamp set-in fact it only has 1 stamp in it!  But what a beauty. And the significance of the pineapple is so special-welcome to all.

I also used another sadly retiring set for the sentiment-Crazy About You. Why on earth they'd retire that one I have no idea! Such a versatile set with so many perfect sayings for just about any occasion!!!  My set is so used!!! lol

I also used the retiring In-Colors on this card.  I will miss them as I miss the In-Colors every year! But wait until you see the new ones!!! Ooh la la!!!

So bye bye Pineapple & Crazy About You! You will both be terribly missed by me!!!!

Happy Stampin'!

So here's my card:

Here's Robbie's inspiration photo:

So the is the Succulent Garden Suite! I have no idea how they choose which sets to retire, because this one has been a big hit!!! I just love it's versatility!!

Working today with my current favorite SU color-Sweet Sugarplum!!! It just jumps out at me at the moment! lol

Today's card is just a simple creation with one of the beautiful flowers u can make with the Succulent Framelits Dies!!! So pretty!!!

The background DSP is the beautiful Succulent Garden DSP.  The       Succulent Garden 3/8" Ribbon Combo pack finishes off the                  Burlap Ribbon on there!!! So simple yet so pretty!!!!

All these items can be found in the 2017 Occasions Catalog by the way! But hurry! They won't be around for long! Boohoo!!!!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

This week week on
Coloring Down the Lines
we are beginning our mourning over the 2015-2017 In-Colors! They will be leaving us in another month or so. While we wait with anticipation for the new In-Colors, we will surely miss these!!! Oddly enough, the color I liked the least in the beginning became my fave-Mint Macaron. Boy will I miss that one!!!

So as you hop, before me is Helen's blog, and after me is Lizzy's blog! You know there's lots of goodness all through this hop!!

Here's my project this week:

Here's the inspiration photo:

So I decided to do something other than a card this week! I need a "favor" of sorts for an event in a couple of weeks, and I thought this would be perfect!  It's called an Envelope Punch Board Tea Cup! Must be honest-found it on Youtube! Not my own creation! But how cute is this?! It would be perfect for some little chocolates or something! Cute presentation.

So it's fairly easy to make. Lots of scoring. The Envelope Punch Board makes the little indents in the bottom for the fold on the cup. A little embossing & some punches decorate the sides nicely! So just something fun & cute!

The stamp sets I used are Thoughts & Prayers & Petite Petals.  The tools used are the Envelope Punch Board, Circle Punches, Simply Scored, Embossing Powder & Heat Tool, Metallic Foil Doilies, Pearls Basic Jewels, Petite Petals Punch

Hope you like this project. Gonna use it for a class at our local Senior Center. I think it's a perfect little table treat for the guests!!!

Happy Stampin'!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES

Well this week we are preparing to say goodbye to this year's Sale-a-Bration! Boohoo!!! I loved this catalog so much!!!! So our challenge this week is to post using something we wish would continue into the Annual Catalog.  It was tough narrowing it down! Wow!

So hello hoppers from Helen's blog! Be sure to hop on to Miss Liz's when you are finished here!

So here's my card:

Outside of card!
It was so hard to choose 1 item from the SAB catalog!!! But I must say my favorite has to be the Hey Chick stamp set. Those dang little hens/chicks whatever they are just crack me up!!!! Especially this guy! Not even sure what it is! lol But how cute!!! I love when he "peeks" through!!

Inside card!
This is just a simple card using. Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Dapper Denim Ruched Ribbon, Watercolor Pencils, Blender Pens, Decorative Label Punch, and a couple of other goodies made this fun card! Not too difficult.

So if only Hey Chick would be around forever! I do know that this one won't go into my sale stash! This will live with me forever! lol

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

Hey all! Miss me?? Fresh of a 2-week family vacation to Hawaii! Then home to a blizzard! Ugh! Trying hard to get back on track! Just wanna be back on the beach tho! lol But anyway, I'm baaacckkkk!!!!

This week's card was stressful for me! lol You'll find out why below!
So hello again to hoppers from Helen's blog! I missed you!  When you head on to Lizzy's blog tell her I said hi!!!

Ok, so this week's challenge! We were to CASE (basically copy! lol) a card from the person behind us in this hop! Well clearly that's Helen! But I consider Helen one of my favorite card makers! I have always loved her designs! She is clean & simple for the most part, but really creative! She knows how to really feature a stamp set!

Here's what I came up with (be gentle!):

So I went with one of her ore simple designs, because I felt I could do it justice! lol  This is a "copy" of her card from Wednesday, March 1. Check out her blog to see it!

I didn't have the Avant Garden stamp set, so I used the Oh So Succulent stamp set. It's similar. It's a nice 1-layer card.

Now Helen used some Silver Card Stock to matte the main art image.  I didn't have any Silver handy, so I used Smoky Slate.  I also added a piece of Succulent Garden Sweet Sugarplum 1/8" Ribbon for a "pop"  Hers didn't need it. But I think mine did. I did finish it off with a bit of Wink of Stella, but I have a hard time getting it to show in a photo! Trust me-it's there! lol

Either way, it's a pretty birthday card. Thanx Helen for the idea, and the beautiful work you do!!!

Happy Stampin'!

COLORING DOWN THE LINES!

This week on
Coloring Down the Lines
we are featuring our favorite techniques!

If you are hopping with us, you probably arrived from Helen's blog!! Be sure to continue on to Lizzy's blog, then keep going! Join our hop all the way around!!!

So here's my card:

Here's Robbie's inspiration photo:

So I went through all the wonderful techniques I've learned in my many, many years of stamping. Which was my favorite? That's a tough one, but I really ended up going with my "go-to", which to me would indicate a favorite! Watercoloring! Not a fancy schmancy technique-just a plain & simple yet fun & effective technique!

I chose one of our beautiful new stamp sets to feature the watercoloring technique. It's the Beautiful You stamp set.   When I first saw it I was like meh! But now it's one of my faves!!! So pretty!

Here's another example of watercoloring with this stamp set.

I saw a similar card somewhere so I decided to put my own take on it! Just a different experiment with the Watercolor Pencils & the Blender Pens on the Watercolor Paper. Fun.

Materials used in these 2 cards include: Beautiful You stamp set,   Watercolor Pencils, Blender Pens, Pop of Pink DSP, Falling Petals Textured Embossing Folder, Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack (from
Sale-a-bration Catalog), embellishments from My Paper Pumpkin,
Pearls Perfect Jewels, Pop of Pink Washi Tape

Enjoy!!!

Happy Stampin'!!
